Otherwise I ran ToC10 and ToC25 twice last night. My dk got some new gear from the 10 man, emblems from the 25. My druid got some emblems from the 10 man and a trophy from the 25 man. Now to get more emblems on my druid!

Hurray for World of Badge Craft. I feel like I am endlessly grinding for some type of badge. Gratz on the Trophy

I'd rather have world of badgecraft than world of disenchantcraft. :p

I totally forgot to mention I got another brand spankin' new 245 ring.

Must grind onyxia 10/25, voa 10/25 and daily heroic! More emblems!

I also went nuts and made 250 glyphs or so and put them up on the AH. Bou's guides on MMO didn't affect my server... AT ALL! So I've got plenty of time to exploit the system.

The other fun part is the whole glyph market is controlled by 3 people. Myself... And two guildies.

250 glyphs?

Considering the prices on my server (8-80g), I'm considering prostituting my character for goldz.

Ysondre isn't even a low pop server anymore, it's considered a "New Player" server.

So our AH economy is rather... tame.

Before epic gems came out, I helped fuel the few AH campers with blue quality gems. I would mass farm about 3000-4000 saronite ore prospect out. Then saturate the AH with gems. We're talking about posting about 500-1000 blue quality gems. They were always raw, never cut. I also had a pretty big handle on the enchanting mats as well. We're talking posting over 1000 infinite dust at a time. I would undercut a decent amount getting the attention of the AH gurus to mass buy my supply off me.

This was a wonderful wonderful way to make money for me and it worked beautifully. Then epic gems came out and I'm sitting on a stock of blue gems I don't need and won't sell. So farming ore isn't as profitable as it used to be. Enchanting mats still go for quite a bit so I'm starting to think that farming cobalt might be the way to go since it has a higher chance for green quality gems. Which I can easily make into mats.

I don't pay for anything when it comes to enchants/glyphs.

Like I said before two of my guildies have a nice strangle hold on the glyph market, and I always have a nice cache of enchanting mats on the bank alt.

The only thing I don't seem to have a lot of is epic gems. I need an alchemist :(

As someone with a lot of alts, I am loving the game at the moment. Two weeks of heroic dailies gets my alt a T9 piece and a T8.5 piece when they are currently wearing only quest/crafted/heroic gear. When it is a fast one like AN, I can run all 7 of my 80's through pretty quickly :)

Alright... Here we go horse.

He needs the Idol of Lunar Fury or the Idol of the Shooting Star. Preferably the first one, but the second will help.

If he has access to a draenai buff in raids tell him to drop the hit gem in his belt and pick up 23 spell power instead. He'll be capped with the Heroic Presence.

Crit gem in boots should be spell power.

Hit gem in pants should also be 12 spell power 10 spirit.

Get sons of hodir exalted and get a shoulder enchant.

30 spell power on bracers.

81 spell power on staff.

Get PVE gear and not PVP gear for ring and boots.

Drop innervate glyph and get insect swarm. With 2 piece t7 thats an absolute must have glyph.

His spec is actually really bad. He should have this spec.

I'm assuming he's having some mana issues and he's picking up IIS when in fact having IFF will help his crit strike increasing his dps and increasing his mana regen since he'll be critting more.

Gems you use are as follows. 23 spell power gems and only two 12 spell power/12 spirit. The only time you go for a socket bonus is if you've got red/blue sockets.

He needs Flask of the Frost Wrym when he raids, and he should be using potions of speed during his lunar eclipse.

He also needs to drop one of his gathering professions, herbalism would be the best to drop and then pick up LW. This way he can fund his own way into 400 to pick up the spell power enchant to bracers.

This is when he also needs to start a death knight with herb/mining to fund his way into a secondary crafting profession. This will also help his gear. I suggest JC for the secondary since it gives a stupid about of awesome to your character.

Make him download the addon SquawkandAwe so he can watch his dots and his eclipse timers.

The way I start off a fight is such.

Trees > FF > MF > IS > Starfall > Wrath until eclipse procs > Starfire until eclipse procs > Wrath > so on and so forth.

You are now able to refresh your dots during eclipse phases but ONLY when they fall off.

You will repop starfall when you are entering the end of a solar eclipse and are attempting to proc lunar eclipse again. Each time starfall crits it restarts your nature's grace proc which if you are at the haste soft cap of 400 will make all your wrath a 1.0 second cast giving you the best opportunity to proc eclipse again.

Have him look atyours truly, so he can see the proper gemming/enchanting and a proper raiding spec if he ever goes into 25 man raiding.

I think that covers it. I hope.

A big thank you to Brewfest, for not only keeping my char drunk, but also helping me replace the last blue on my Bear off-spec (yay)!

A couple more badges and I can finally retire the last of my frost-resistance pieces to my stamina set for good. Man I'm really looking forward to that; it feels good to have some damage mitigation finally.

On an off-note, our raid became painfully aware of the problems with having me and my Mrs. both tank. We had a power outage in ToC and, from what I hear, having both of your tanks DC at the same time makes the fights a little more complicated. :p

depressive post inc, so those not wanting to feel sad, go ahead and skip it.

------------------------------------------------------------

my friend died today. as of this writing she isnt technically dead, shes just off of life support. but she has multiple organ failure (kidneys, liver, lungs) and a low blood oxygen saturation level (mid 70's when it should be at least 90). she contracted a rather rare strain of severe swine flu that attacks the lungs, which resulted in a pneumonia, which led to hospitalization for the past two weeks. i saw her on tuesday. she was on a resipirator and looked a little like the bionic woman with all the stuff she had hooked up to her.

today it was decided to pull life support. i guess her mom made the call, not sure yet. her name was kitty joy sexton. she played a female dwarf paladin named sigrid on my server, anetheron. she was 29.

I feel for you Quor :(

We just had a great person on our server die Monday of last week. Congestive Heart Failure...she was 39.

Having a memorial in game with all her friends helped. Gives everyone the opportunity to get it out and heal.

I feel for you man. I really really do.

Come the 15th it will be the one year anniversary of the night my best friend took his life.

Drink your beer. It was the first thing I did when I found out.
