Mazra did a good job summarizing it, he fell through the world I combatressed him when his corpse popped in my tanking spot, Rio got lost and couldn't find the right edge of the ship anymore and Maz tanking Muradin didn't quite work out.
So when the next iceblocks popped I basically just thought no ******* way we're wiping on lolship normal so I jumped and I somehow managed to make it back and forth more or less in time.

And Rio lives in Canada but is Scottish so being drunk is pretty much obligatory for him.
I;m not quite sure why he's the warrior tank and I'm the druid.

Maz, for the love of Christ and all that is holy, I'm Scottish, not Canadian. I just live in Canadia due to some unlucky circumstances.
Also: Hangovers suck

Edit: Cheers Aeth, I should probably learn to read the rest of the thread before I respond. And it's only another 2 hours before I can start drinking again :D

Also, in Canadia, people can't buy tobacco if they're younger than 21. Which is funny.

It was pretty nice getting the guild together for a raid again. Ever since we lost a few people, we've had to PUG a lot, and it puts a damper on the raid mood when you don't know who you're raiding with.

Even if the one you're raiding with is a drunken Canadian Scotsman.

At least you said Scotsman, and not Brittish person. I hate it when people say Scottish people are Brittish, that's too close to english for my liking :P

But calling me a "posh English woman"...

And Maz, we still get idiots like that shaman. Actually, the rest of the group was decent for once (thanks to my almost two hours of spamming trade and turning down almost everyone immediately), it always seems to be the shamans. I hear raiding guilds can be in a similar spot.

Okay, take two paladins and me. Then put us into AQ40.

Then try the first boss. Solo, with all three of us, every single Seal/Judgement/Hand/whatever bubble thing that is available in game, it doesn't work.

The Internet says what we were lacking was a Feral druid. Or a pally with more patience, I suppose.

We went and did MgT heroic instead, the mount dropped and I lost the roll. At least I got the three not so rare AQ mounts today.

Edit: Oh, and Nil, I think part of the problem is that 98% of English people are chavs. There, I said it.

I'm glad to be in a minority in that case. I agree that the chav problem has become rather epidemic.

On a similar note, I need to let off some steam.

So I just did Ruby Sanctum. The minibosses, anyway. With a PuG.

We quit after the fourth try on Halion because apparently nearly everyone was too ******* stupid to grasp a simple concept such as get the **** away from the raid when you've got the debuff on you. If it didn't happen too much in P1, it did in P2, and that's supposed to be the easy part of the strategy. God, I need a guild. One with less idiots than what you pick up in trade chat.

From what I could see, the Halion encounter (on normal mode) is actually just a ******* joke if people do what they're supposed to (this also includes not to turn him with his tail in the healers' face in P1 for no apparent reason) which makes it all the more frustrating that we didn't even get him to P3.

I think it's also that people seem to be ******* lost without DBM or whatever. Seriously. There is nothing about the fight that requires anyone to have DBM, everything is presented quite clearly anyway, my awareness in raids is really way below average and I'm still saying it.

The fact that he's a joke was proven by over 500 American guilds killing him on 10m and over 400 killing him on 25m the first day of release.
I'm pretty confident that some PuGs on Kazzak managed to kill him too.

Yay new content amiright?

Also I need to ***** about this some more.
******* RealID doesn't work between US and EU servers.
Bastards.

Would've been awesome to be able to talk to drunk druids, Bodhi, Teacake and all the other cool people on this forum who had the bad luck of being born on the wrong continent.

So liek, now that the NDA is lifted, I can say this:

CAT FINALLY GETS A GOD DAMN KICK YAY

Hate not being able to perform timely interrupts as feral. -.-;

Anyone else wish the balance tree was more feral friendly? 'Cause I'd like to use solarbeam to help me pull caster mobs :S

Eh?

There was an 8 second 'kick' in alpha, plus a 1 min stun.

Did they change it?

Skull Bash
Cat Form - level 22 - You charge and skull bash the target, interrupting spellcasting and preventing any spell in that school from being cast for 5 sec.
25 Energy, 18 yd range, Instant, 1 min cooldown
Skull Bash
Bear Form - level 22 - You charge and skull bash the target, interrupting spellcasting and preventing any spell in that school from being cast for 5 sec.

Oh what the ****.

That's supposed to be 15 sec on bear and 8 sec on cat Smiley: mad
#2570 Jul 01 2010 at 5:53 PM Rating: Good
Chill pills everyone :)

Each point in the talent Brutal Impact decreases the cooldown by 25sec so with 2 points we have a 10 second interrupt :)

It adds a fairly brutal debuff to casters as well, plus 30% mana cost to all spells for 10 seconds. So that'll be up pretty much constantly. It's also another gap closer for kitties yay! And balance and resto, just once per minute.

My tank set is finally starting to get respectable again. Of course our normal MT comes back next week, so I'm likely back to healing at that point... Smiley: lol

You're one of those spreadsheet experts, aren't you? If you answer yes, I have a couple of questions that you might be able to answer.

See PM.

Please hold onto the information about my mental status you can gather from that closely and don't share it, I want people to think I'm still kind of sane. :S
