different flavors of combat swordsFollow

I've been grinding up a new rogue, horde side, and I need to respec to Combat Swords. I love to play the other trees, but grinding is just too slow with them. I know the basics of combat swords, but I also know that different players use different flavors of it. i.e. remorseless makes a lot of sense for strict grinding but many pure combat builds don't have it.

So what variations of combat swords would you guys reccommend I look at?

Also a level 27 atm, are there any decent swords i should watch for at the AH - I have about 20-30 gold and i don't want to blow it all on something I'll outgrow in a couple days. So what should I do about weapons?

Thanks.

30G will see you through to 40 if you're not stupid with your cash. Blues are UTTERLY unnecessary, AH some greens at any level and you'll be fine.

Pick up swords from quests. You shouldn't have to spend any money really. Use a decent green until you are in your upper 30s. Do the quests for the vanquisher's sword and the sword of omen. After these you'll get the thrash blade quest around level 45. The thrash blade should take you into the mid to upper 50s where you can start getting outland's weapons. As far as tallent builds are concerned, that's your own choice. I would personally go through combat to get DW spec... and grab BF... after that you can fill in malice and grab some stuff in the assassination tree if you want... or grab sword spec in combat and continue down to AR and beyond in the combat tree...

Since you are going combat, you are going to want to at least go down to AR before moving into other trees. AR is your bread-and-butter skill, the one that allows to do many of the tougher quests whilst solo much easier. It is what makes a combat rogue, combat.

Edit: That and Combat Potency, but you can wait on that after putting a few points in the Assassination tree.

Blade Flurry is soo good while grinding and if you throw S&D, BF and AR + Evasion up in a boss-fight, u can basically take down anything in your way that is within reasonable reach according to your lvl.

I agree with former posters, dont spend gold on weapons, do quests for the above mentioned and you will have gold for that oh so sweet mount when you hit 40.
