Stick with the cat you have now. The only difference is the skin, or the way it looks. A named cat will be unique, and sometimes rare/elite (which means you will have a harder time finding and/or taming it, probably), and will require you to go looking for it. And your cat will have the same stats, speed, training points (assuming same loyalty level), etc. So, unless you want the special skin, go with the cat you already have.
