My main is a lvl 46 rogue, and as reading other peoples experiences about taking 5 - 9 mobs at once, I realize that I'm not half as good at playing rogue as I thought I were, rather the other way around, that I'm still kind of noobish... Well, just to get to the point, is there someone that can learn me about the tricks of the rogue? At the moment, I'm specc. Assassination/Combat, Duel wielded with sword and dagger in main hand. Also, I'd like to know where to train my lockpicking? Someone that knows a good area to train on? The current areas trainers are telling me, is either to hard or to easy...

First and foremost, the people talking about taking on 9 mobs at once are probably grinding on enemies well below their level. It's just not feasible to take on 9 enemies of even-level and expect to survive unless you have a pocket healer with a very large mana pool.
The spec that allows them to do that is Combat, most likely swords. A good grinding technique is to pull 3-4 enemies, then active Evasion, Blade Flurry, and Adrenaline Rush, and start spamming Sinister Strike/Eviscerate. This will down enemies quickly, but two of those three abilities are on 5 minutes cooldowns, so the technique can't be used very often.
As far as lockpicking, you should be able to find somewhere to train that's close to your skill cap. Asking your trainer is a good idea, even if the area is well below your level. Remember: you're there to skill up lockpicking, not to exp, but it's a bonus if you can do both. Alternately, you can sit in a major city and offer to pick lockboxes for people.
There's some handy information about lockpicking in the sticky at the top of the forum. That should give you some ideas.
