Help with my RougeFollow

#1 May 26 2007 at 6:44 AM Rating: Decent
I have a problem with my rouge. The majority of my attacks are misses, and I cant figure out what im doing wrong. I was dual wielding swords, but since that wasnt working well I switched to daggers, but I still have the same result. Im a level 21 rouge playing on the lightning hoof server and for my talent tree im doing assasination if any of that information helps. Ive tried switching weapons and everything but nothing has seemed to work. Please help!

Thanks.

dual wielding adds a 19% chance to miss. also, maybe your weapon skill isnt maxed out for your level. that has a big impact on misses. You also miss more on mobs that are higher level than you.

Your miss rate will be in part dependent on the level of mob you fight and your weapon skill. Try fighting lower level mobs and maxing your dagger/sword skills.

And Rogue is not spelled Rouge, that's a women's makeup

yeah, my weapon skills arent the problem, so maybe I should just stop dual wielding. and the creatures I fight are only 1 level ahead of me. Right now im questing in the wetlands, and thats why missing is a big problem. Thanks for the tips.

P.S. Yeah, I know, I can't spell. lol

Rouge class guide

anyway rogues cant hold anything in their other hand other than a weapon or a offhand stat thingamajhig.

What are your stats like? could you link us your armory profile? maybe your hit rate is really low.

Rogues are made to quickly kill one thing at a time, I'm not sure if that is a drawback on killing mobs, so maybe switch places.

As said before, dual wielding will add a 19% chance to miss, but will also increase you overall damage output by a great margin as two weapons are better than one, obviously.

So yea make sure your weapon skill is maxed and if you are combat, put 5 points into precision and 2 points into weapon expertise (later talent though). This should solve most of your miss problems.

And grinding on mobs 1-3 levels lower than your own is also far more effective for a rogue.
