Agility and Attack powerFollow

#1 May 26 2007 at 6:43 AM Rating: Decent
Hey, I got a question. Exactly how much attack power is gained from Agility? of course im talking melee attack power. also, what are the other rogue mechanics for attack power. i think 1 strength gives 1 attack power too. If somebody could clarify this all that would be great. Also, what should i pick as a rogue, AP gear or Agility gear? Thanks.

1 Strength = 1 Agility = 1 AP.

However, Strength only gives attack power, while agility give AP, dodge, crit, and armor.

so its obvious that i should choose 12 agi over 12str or 12 atp but when do the benefits of the added str or atp bonouses outweigh the benefits of agility. for example which is better 1agi or 2atp? also 15agi or 18atp? should a combat swords rogue focous on atp and stamina or agility and stamina since agility improves dodge and therefore survivability?Does dodge really improve survivability? Is survivability what a combat swords rogue really should focous on? i have so many questions. XD i wish some level 70 Leet rogue masters would just come mentor me.

Try getting Ag and ap gear.

Theres not much purely ap gear to be had at lower levels [though for rings and necklaces it will be common].

Later on at the late 50's and on you'll find "of the bandit" which gives you ag, ap and a third something i cant remember.

Bandit gear has agility, stamina, and AP.

At the lower levels, agility will be more prevalent in gear, so take that. If, however, you come across a nice AP item, don't hesitate to equip it, but realize that you'll be sacrificing agility, and likely stamina (and therefore health) for that small boost in damage.

As for your question concerning 15 Agility or 18 Attack Power? 15 agility FTW. You'll get extra crit-rate, dodge, armor, plus some AP, rather than just 18 AP.
