Am I the only one who is having a problem with the deadzone? it says... traget is to close... and Im like tipping 20+yard range. or there will be a severe drop in the ground. with that being said. I cant seem to get into range in BRD in certian areas. seems to be when theres rough turrain. is there something wrong with that list? i am not sure how it works anymore. maybe my game us just freakin out.

What's your latency? It may be you're lagging and the mobs aren't really where they appear to be on your screen. Just a thought.

if it's really consistent, and goes on for a while, you might also want to try updating all your computer's drivers. I've seen out-of-date drivers cause all sorts of weird rendering issues. My friend had it so bad, that she couldn't walk because she fell through the ground into nothingness, but as soon as I updated her Mobo's drivers, it stopped.

I've found that sometimes with mobs that charge (i.e. boars, stags) you'll wind up with the target LOOKING like it's in one place, when it's actually in another. The problem with this is that you have to be in a position to attack it based on both where your computer THINKS it is, and where it actually is. i.e. for you to hit the button, your computer has to think the mob is within range. But for the button to work, the mob has to actually be in range. I think it's part lag issue but also part issue of simply having your pet make an intercept against a charging mob.

I've also noticed some issues with mobs and terrain in the new patch, i.e. beasts bouncing up and down, etc. So it might be patch-terrain-ish-related or it might be the charge-change-aggro issue.

I've noticed the exact same thing. I've never had a problem with it before. I also think, as you said, it has something to do with this patch.

Speaking of mobs bouncing. i watched one of those firegut ogres tip toe across a stretch of land. damn if I could only figure out how to find my screenshots I would have had a funny one. It looked like an Ogre trying to be a ballarina(spelling?)

screen shots are usually found in C:/program files/world of warcraft/screenshots if you have windows and saved wow in the default area.
