1: imp sap static? hells ja!
possibly the best thing a raiding rogue with split interest ever got, aside from 41-15-5 mutilate (but **** daggers =\)
but the big thing bout that? a 20-41-0 combat rogue is TREMENDOUS in heroics now... full time dps, with the gear n talents to treat those hardcore 70-72 elites like a raid.... plus good cc
rogues are now wanted in heroics if you arent a jackass or pvp spec (even pvp spec is nice)
2: the new glows? bout time <3
its only a graphic, it has nothing to do with anything, but man i feel incomplete without weapon glows.... i hated my emerald ripper lookin like it was unenchanted
mongoose is crazy lookin, battlemaster is subtle but very cool i think (thank goodness to as im twin BM enchanted), the 2h ones are nift-o (points to savagery), 81 to heals is... noticeable at least lol
3: the gear upgrades....
so i was in decent epics, kara stuff, no pvp stuffs
i gained half a crit, 100 hp, 9 hit rating, and 40 ap... bein in over half blues thats a nice jump
but the weapons dps change... thats the key
glad weapons 88.8->91.2
my emerald ripper 81.3->87.3
big jump, kara weapons are now worth the time
other popular combat weapons (non dagger)
fireguard is 84.4 dps now (same with any t1 bop crafted weapons)
blinkstrike is 81
vindicator brand is now 81
heroic epic ones are 81 id assume
it sure helps us close the gap against a caster in raid dps
4: pvp aspect
aside from the talents, things got a balance shift.... and its big
we lost ground on HEAVY burst dps casters, since most of em picked up a lot of crit, didnt lose much ground but some
we gained a ton of ground on healers, they gained some hp, and maybe some resil.... but our extra dps is more then the defense they gained
ice mages i thing we lost the most ground one, them and feral druids
ice mage: extra crit chance, more damage, more hp in pvp gear... a lil more resil; they got the ice block debuff now, but that doesnt help a ton against us really.... they are harder to kill and kill us faster... the fight is very skill based now
feral druid: taking less damage, doin a lil more, and more hp.... nuff said on the bear form druid
paladins: farm mode now, ignore the stat upgrades... plate didnt get much better to where wed see a difference, BUT we can trinket HOJ
we win, they are forced bubbles on us now
havent evaluated on hunters, i will soon
warriors and rogues got more skilled based, but the balance didnt change
rogue vs rogue is set to who can stun break better... and a 30% stun resist orc rogue has a huge edge with a trinket too
