Being that they made SAP always keep stealth... Does that mean we are getting a free respec? Cause I want to fix my 19 rogue =D

you now have "Dirty Tricks" (I think it was called), which gives range and a energy reduction to sap and blind.

...my god you guys will never stop whining.

For one thing, making normal sap imp sap is probably the best thing blizzard has EVER done for rogues.

For another thing, increasing the sap radius by FOUR YARDS means you can now sap a target without them even coming within melee range. Blind is also getting a range boost meaning that there is no rogue deadzone: either you're close enough for blind or far enough away for deadly throw. Finally, the fact that it cuts energy by half means no more waiting 6 seconds or so for full energy again. Dirty tricks is one of the best changes they've made to this class.

Agreed that the free Imp Sap is awesome, but the rest of your post refers to things that a lot of players couldn't care less about (all PvP related, as far as I can tell, and purely for lvl 64+ in the case of the 'dead zone' argument). I know that if I was specced for Imp Sap right now, I'd be furious that we aren't getting a respec, because Dirty Tricks is completely useless to me.

Just because we rolled rogue doesn't mean we always pvp. Have you ever heard of a little something called, oh, I don't know.... DPS in a group?

Anywho, in regards to the thread, I love this change, seeing as how I'm combat and wasn't specced for imp. sap in the first place. I also pvp rarely, mainly only when I want an equipment upgrade. So basically, I'm happy.

Right..

I forgot there was only one way to play.

My bad.

Well, it's not like its totally useless in PvE - u can now sap a higher lvl mob than u with less risk due to being further away - u will not be seen as easily as before.

I love pvping so I love the new talent, it pwns :P

If you're low enough level that Dirty Tricks is useless to you, then a respec probably isn't going to cost you much. If you're a high level rogue and don't want to PvP, then go complete 5 quests to pay for your respec. Either way, it's great that we get Improved Sap for free now, so stop complaining. I can't believe that people complain even when we finally do get a buff.
