Being a mage i hate rogues and would be very hypocriticol to play one, So i want either a pally or hunter
Au contraire (I know I spelled that wrong), if you hate rogues, it's probably because they beat you a lot (I'm assuming here), which means you SHOULD roll one to figure out their tricks. Best way to beat a class is to know how to play it yourself.

If i rolled a pally i would most likely be healing and can see myself getting very bored with that as i like my DAMAGE!!!
Don't jump to conclusions. Pally's can tank too, and you wont get more DPS (as a pally) than if you're tanking multiple mobs as a prot pally. I made a druid with the assumption I'd heal every instance, but people made me tank instead.

Basically all the hunters i have come across in arena seem to be really gd and kill me fairly quick..is this just because i am a clothy or are hunters a viable class in arena?
Keep in mind that most of a hunter's damage is physical, which means it'll do more damage to you than to say, a druid/warrior/paladin. Whereas unless the target is specced for -% spell damage taken, you will always do the same. It is partly because of cloth. But, a hunter is about more than damage. You need more than instant shots to be good as a hunter, you got traps, feign death, wing clip, a pet, and you need to know how to use those along with the shots, and how to play with your particular talent build.

I have heard people sayin yea hunters are really gd and i have heard ppl saying if u play hunter in arena all u will see is 'Target is not in line of sight'..anyone play a hunter in arena?
If you're a mage, and if you've ever done an arena fight, I would assume you've been at range against melee classes. So, if you don't go OoLOS on the mage, I'd say it's safe to assume you wont go OoLOS on your hunter.
All in all, It's really up to you. You seem to have your mind made up on the hunter. You want a BE, which cuts out druids, shamans, and warriors. You absolutely dont want a rogue, priest, another mage, or a paladin...so that leaves warlock and hunter. I'll assume (since it wasn't even mentioned, and b/c it's another clothy) you don't want a warlock, so you're left with the hunter.
In other words, your mind was made up before you came here, and all you wanted was posted in the last quote I said, which is confirmation that you wont go OoLOS, in which case the only negative you see would be gone.
So, roll a hunter.
