Granted, I am fully aware that I could be waaaay off the mark here, but to me, after perusing these forums a bit, would seem like it would work.

If you are specced like this...
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogue/talents.html?3053201050121025000000000000000000000000000005500431330001000501000

If you hit premed, then ambush, could you end up with 5 CP from 1 ambush?
2 from premed
1 from ambush itself
(If Ambush Crits)
1 from initiative
1 from Seal fate

So, assuming this is right, you could ambush then 5 CP evis shortly thereafter, right?

Part 2 of the question...is it worth it to do that?

PS- i know the build may be a little off, (esp assassination tree) but I was really just wondering about the seal fate / premed combo

Even with Cold Blood up, you still only have a 75% chance to get that 5th combo point. But yes, Initiative should synergize with Seal Fate.

It'd work, sometimes. But I definitely wouldn't base by entire build around it.

I think what you meant to do was this:

The better way to ensure 5 CPs right away would be Ambush, Gouge, CB Evis.

Ambush as you run through your target, spin and Gouge and then pop CB, wait for a tick or two of energy and Evis.

Mages used to hit the ground repeatedly pre-BC using that combo.

EDIT: Just looked at the two builds in this thread and they both made me go, "WTF?"

A 30/0/31 build should look like this.

Okay, thanks for the input so far...heres a few other nub questions

If ruthlessness procs on an evis, do you get a second combo point from seal fate, or does SF only work with abilities gauranteed to get a CP?

Is riposte that useful in PvP, I never hear anyone talking about it?

Is ghostly strike + setup not that great a combo, I dont see it in many builds?

Thanks again

Setup is really only useful if you're grinding as a Sub Rogue.

Riposte is nice for low level grinding if you're planning on going Combat, but at 60-70 there are better talents.

SF only works with Rogue abilities that give combo points. As in, you spend energy on them

Well now I just feel downright silly for not reading SF that closely.
