Patch gear questionFollow

I heard that certain items with the "Warrior" tag were going to have that removed. Example of such being Vambraces of Courage off of Attumen the Huntsman:

Thing is, I didn't see anything about that in the patch notes. Can anyone prove or disprove this? I'd really like to know before being awarded the Vambraces whether I'll be able to use them or not :)
