Thank you all for attending How to pick a fight - 101.

My friends quite enjoyed reading all of the anger and animosity I drew out of you all (with the exception of HuttJ, who in fact posted a reply with even emotion.)

Thank you all.

No, thank you for being the demonstration subject for "forum ploys that no one cares about". Today's lesson was 'make a stupid post, and then say that you were just trying to draw a reaction out of the other forum goers'. Unfortunately, your response left much to be desired - really, in terms of 'biting impact' it's about as effective as a two-year old trying to sledgehammer you to death - but you get points for a good effort regardless.

Next week: Calling everyone who disagrees with you "gay", then tearfully admitting your own homosexual tendencies in a later post in order to garner sympathy. There will be a quiz.

You should've said it was your brother who wrote it.

Trust me.

Truth be told, I had several people put bugs in my ear as to what was supposed to be changed for druids and some of those things really sucked. So, when it came to the list I linked to in the first part of this thread, I still had those (false) things in the back of my mind.

I still think that the points I made were vaild to an extent, but I humble myself now and say to you all that I made a mistake. Some of the items I completely misread, one I was completely unsure of (and I admitted it) and I let myself be swayed by false rumors.

I apologize for raising everyone's blood pressure. The fact is, I can play a druid and I do it very well. Apparently, it's reading & comprehension that escapes me. Smiley: lol

Anyway, I thoroughly read the list again and I now agree that 99.9% of the changes are in fact, for the better. Granted, the majority of them are for Resto and will not help me with my current character, but they are still all better.

So, there you have it. You guys were right, I was wrong.

Actually, the 'OH SHI-' version has been used on the OOT board for as long as I can remember. You're probably thinking of the FFXI boards?

Naw, definitely the OoT. It is probably Hellboy or Nixnot that has made me aware of the OH SHI~ version, and made it the official OoT version.

Gotta say I love the avatar though.

Just when it starts to look like you are owning up, ya slip in a jab that implys that you did no wrong.........

Quote:
"Barkskin" now reduces all damage taken, with its duration reduced to 12 seconds and cooldown reduced to 1 minute. The tooltip has been adjusted to indicate this ability can be used while frozen, incapacitated, or cowering in fear. That functionality was already present, but not listed in the tooltip

Resto druids already have a way to resist spell intruption, they didnt need this, this is a buff to Ballance Druids.... what is you "current character" spec again? well when i chcked it was ballance.

Quote:
"Bear Form" and "Dire Bear Form": The bonus health from shapeshifting into these forms will again be removed correctly when shifting out of these forms.

Just how is that affecting Resto Druids?

Quote:
Celestial Focus: The delay on the stun effect for Starfire has been reduced

Wait, they chanded the school of Celistial focus? Nope, still a Ballance tallent.... what was your spec agian?

Quote:
Feral Charge" now suppresses all Slowing effects while charging the target.

Resto change?

Quote:
"Force of Nature": These pets will now come into the game with full health, including that gained from a percentage of their master's stamina.

Wow lots of ballance changes for a 99.9% resto buff, god knows how any of theese could possibly help a ballance druid...

Quote:
Gift of the Wild", ranks 1 and 2, are now available on trainers

Dont all druids cast this spell?

Quote:
"Improved Leader of the Pack": This ability will no longer generate threat.

OK i got to stop, because like everything else in this thred, the relevent will be ignored and a whole new slew of garbage will come out of it...

26 Changes to Druids
11 of the changes affect ALL druids
4 Affect Ballance Druids(note i did not even include the change to sublity that is truely a ballance boon)
3 affect Feral druids
4 affect resto druids.

You can do the math and see that the changes at hand are not terribly one sided, and that they will benefit you.

Sometimes it is better to just not post than to post a appoligy that comes with a excuse.

I will tell you one thing though, This has been a hoot for me, as RPZip pointed out you keep showing us text book examples of Poor fourm behaivor. Not quite the rising blood preasure you were hoping for? or was that just an other excuse for why you started a rant before looking at the content?

Smiley: twocents I owned up to my lack of reading and comprehension, now it is time for you to as well. My entire friggin post was me admitting that I did wrong. Do you just read tid-bits that **** you off and fire?

Smiley: twocents Ummm, that was a quote from the change notes for the update. I had nothing to say about Barkskin.

Smiley: twocents Again, a quote from the change notes, not me. Though it does affect them in the sense that they too get bear and dire bear from.

Smiley: twocents Didn't you hear? Celestial Focus is a Rectumrod talent now, and you are THE MASTER!

Resto change?

Smiley: twocents Yes, it is a resto change. Is that what you want me to say? Then yes, yes it is. LOL

Smiley: twocents You apparently took me too literal when I said 99.9%. I was being facetious. You know, "har, har" "yuck, yuck" "giggle, giggle" ?

Quote:

Dont all druids cast this spell?

Smiley: twocents Well, initially they needed the books to learn it, which is why I bought them. Maybe you are confusing it with Mark of the Wild? That is the version that all Druids get. The "Gift" affects the entire party in one casting and lasts for 1 hour, where as the "Mark" is one target at a time and only lasts for 30 min.
