Ok. Thats cool. I was wanting to make sure cause most of my gear is already down in the low 40s with the exception of my boots and my new leggings i just got. But i guess sence im BM spec Ill be fine. w00t BM ftw.
At 58 the fights will be a bit tough for you, but you should be able to handle them. I prefer to wait until 60 to really quest in Outland. There are a ton of quests to do in Azeroth to get to 60. I’d rather save the Outland xp for my 60 to 70 run. But I do like to head to Outland to get the crossbow upgrade.
There are two quests you can do at the same time as soon as you get to Outland. One involves killing the red orcs. On the alliance side I think it’s a kill X number of them. On the horde side you have to collect X number of blood samples. That quest will get you a nice crossbow.
The other quest has you collect wood and metal scraps. I believe this quest will get you a nice helm. Ugly graphic, but nice stats. Since the wood and metal scraps spawn around the orcs you are killing you may as well do both of these at the same time.
Once I do those I head back to Azeroth until I hit 60 and then the Outland quests are much easier to manage.
My blood elf hunter had gear ranging from mid 50 quest rewards to level 40 bracers and he managed just fine. Just be very aware of your surroundings. In addition to standard adds watch for the rumbling piles of earth as worms will attack from them. And watch for the giant, wondering fel reaver that will squash you like a bug.
