Eviscerate Damage = False Advertising?Follow

Maybe I'm crazy, but the tooltip suggested damage from eviscerate, and what actually occurs are two very different things. Hitting the top end of the advertised damage from an evis only happens for me with crits.

So what gives? Reduction due to armor? It's gotten to the point where a 3 point non-crit evis won't even match a regular white crit for me. Is eviscerate useless at higher levels?

If you are comparing an eviscerate which's rank u've learned 5 levels ago it often seems pretty useless. I agree on that. However when a humanoid begins to run away and u only have enough energy for an evis you are gonna love it :P
