I just started a new toon set on Nazgrel on Jan. 12. Mainly because I wanted a new start and a fresh server sounded like fun (still waiting for the econ. to get established...people think a hundred gold is way too much for crusader/lifestealing w/o mats)
The thing I want to rant about for a bit is the recent emergence of level 60 "newbies". It seems to me since BC came out, more and more high level toons are played by realitive new players. Gone are the days where it takes an experienced player to level to 60 inside a week.
An example ~ I was in fel wood with my mage getting enough rep. to pass through to winterspring blah blah blah. In walks this level 60 warrior GROUPED with a level 59 hunter and they proceed to blast my quest mobs. I give the obvious WTF? Why did you just come in and ninja all my quest mobs?" and the answer upset me something wicked.
"O sry, I dint no they r for a quest. I jest keep dyin in here so we groped up 4 the xperince."
then the hunter
"dnt be a **** noob"
...
I say again (or don't say again)
...
This is not an isolated item either. People like this are in the majority on this server and it truely upsets me. (what I really love is the toons that, as soon as they hit fourty they assume any ?? is lvel 60)
Is it getting this bad on other servers or am I just blessed? Tell me warriors on the other servers aren't forgetting (or didn't know in the first place) that sunder armor works better for grouping. Tell me they know tossing a thunder out with a sheep about is a bad idea because if things are getting this bad on established servers as well I just might hit up the PVP servers.
When did using a guide to level instead of learning the game start making sense?
When did it start becoming more fun?
LOL ok ok, rant over for now.
