resto shammy +healing?Follow

Ok, heres my problem. The tooltip for a rank 7 lesser healing wave says it heals for 1051-1198. My shaman has +1060 bonus healing at the moment. So, shouldn't my lesser healing wave usually hit about 2100 or so? I'm usually getting in the area of 1700-1800....same exact problem on my healing wave. Oddly enough, the chain heal seems to add up exactly right.

So maybe I'm missing something obvious, can anyone enlighten me?

LHW gets only a 50% bonus from healing, HW only gets alil bit of a debuff if your spec to have it shortened to 2.5 second cast. Chain Heal on the other hand is a 3 second cast so it gets full bonus. basicly spells at 3 second always get full bonsu and the lower the casting time the less buff it gets from +dmg or healing gear. This is done that way to creat balance between the spells, LHW is ment to be more of BURST HEALING and is made to be less mana efficient then HW, if it got the full bonus it would just be too powerful, and blizard wants shorter heals for spot healing and when tanks get low to spam them with it. Chain Heal is our most affective heal aslong as it is healing 2 or 3 targets. Anyhow if bliz didnt nerf +healing on spells then we could spam HW rank 1 for .5 seconds.

I thought they changed it so that instant cast spells got even less than 1.5 second cast. I could have sworn I read they changed it to like 38% or so. Not much of a difference anyhow.
