I use the quicker timer on fireblast in my rotation with frost bolt. I get ignites and even some stuns. Helps boost dps on trash mobs. On bosses I mainly go frost bolt but for trash mobs and farming fire blast is used all the time with FN and ice lance.

That build sucks, why have improved fireball and improved frostbolt?

It's clearly for pvp but you skipped imp CoC.

Winters chill not great for pvp.

Those are just a couple of things, but really the overall setup is pointless, where does the damage come from?

Surely in an elemental build you use frostbolt as main nuke, then pyro only for shatter crits.

Then, seeing as frostbolt is your main nuke, improved fireball is pointless so you should go for impact and a scorch+fireblast setup in the fire tree.

I would also think you would stretch to blastwave for the awesome shatter+blastwave combo, not to mention it's a great spell in its own right.

which is why i dont have pyro. Without the +crit fire skills it cost more mana for a small amount of non crit dmg then frost bolt for mana/cast time and much high crit %. But fire blast is an instant cast, quicker cool down, and the nice ignite more often then you would think. My frost bolts with my buffs do 1400, and with the frost talents crit alot. I tend to frost bolt, fireblast, frost nova, then frost bolt and ice lance to get the double crit. A lot of mobs are dead before the ice lance. With how much I use fireblast it make sense for me to put those points into it. And if I removed more points from frost I still would not get pyro. With my build it just does not get used.
