Grinding 40-50Follow

#1 May 08 2007 at 2:49 AM Rating: Decent
Hey all,

I'm a dagger happy ambush rogue carrying Gut Ripper. Just wondering what will be a more effective grind spot: Dunemaul Ogres in Tanaris or Woodpaw Gnolls in Feralas.

Any feedback is welcome

Sorry, had to go to a meeting so I rushed the thread.

What I wanted to ask is: What is a good grinding spot for levels 45 till 50? I read the most grinding guides but most are general and I would to ask my fellow rogues where would be the best for a rogue to grind these levels?

I always liked the Naga on the island in feralas to grind on. they are SOFT. I mean, 2 shotable. If I could 2 shot them on my hunter I think a rogue would have no problem.

Of course they are level 43-45 or so and might not last too long. I think i stuck around there until 47 or 48 though.

At that level, I'd hit up the yeti or the hippogryphs in Feralas. There's a whole ******** of 'em there, and if you're a skinner, you'll be in heaven.

Hey man you should consider following a leveling guide instead!

Much more fun and also faster (at least it feels that way) than just grinding out level after level.

Jame's Leveling Guides a superb for that. It's free, it's easy to follow, it's effective and it's just darn excellent. Check it out.

Jame's Horde leveling guide 40-51

Jame's Alliance leveling guide 40-51

I've used them on all 3 of my toons from 21-60 without ever looking back.

I follow Jame;s guides allready. But soemtimes I just feel like grinding out. I started using the guide from lvl 20. But when I hit lvl 32 I started grinding in Alterac Mountains. Did that untill I hit lvl 37. Then I started questing again. Now I just want to mindlessly kill some more before I start questing again at lvl 50 or so.

Will the nagas on the Isle be viable for a Hordie? It is very close to Feathermoon so I guess I'll meet a lot of Allies there.

I did some grinding on the gnolls southwest of Camp Mojache and hit 46 yesterday. They are mostly lvl 42 so now I need a new spot. Does anyone remember what level the ogres in Tanaris are?

Yeah the ogres in Tanaris are lvl 45 and 46. I do find them a bit hardhitting however, meaning more downtime.

I would suggest another great spot for your level. The Gordunni ogres in Feralas. Theres a MEGA camp with those fellas, and a majority of these are casters (rather squishy). You will find Shamans, Warlocks and Mage-Lords (fire mages), along with Brutes and Battlemasters. All lvl 45-46.

I've grinded there alot tbh and it's one of the top spots.

Thanks,

I'll be sure to check them out. I also read some about the ghosts in Azshara.
Is that better then the Gordunni Ogres? I know Ogres drop fast, don't know about Ghosts.

Never tried the ghosts so I have no idea.

Hit them up and see how it goes :)

I did Ferelas, but I am a letherworker so it only made sense to me. Miners would like the caves in Ferelas as well.
