Hey, I'm comming back from a 2 year vacation from WoW and I'm comming back wiht a friend. He's set on being a warrior, and I was thinking either Priest or the idea of a druid has come up. I just wanna do what are the best builds to duo in instances pre and post 60. And if I was to be a main healer in 5 mans, would I have to spec all resto? Basically what is the low down on being with a warrior friend a lot and being able to level and hold my own at the same time? other questions too: What type of role are druids wanted for in end game instances and raids? Thanks ahead of time for any advice.

Leveling alongside a warrior personally i would go for a balance specc. This will help you healing (thus increasing both your survivability). This would mean that you will also be able to nuke and because your manapool is bigger then a feral druid you will have some left for that needed heal.

Your question what role we fill in endgame, thats not so easily anwsered. It used to be healing only. But since TBC i have tanked, DPS'ed, healed and nuked. We as hybrids are blessed with divercity, we can perform in each segment and hold our ground! Tbh what role you fill really depends on what you like to do and what is needed most at any given time. I myself was resto in MC, turned moonkin for BWL and AQ 40 and later on feral for TBC/lvling. Was resto again for the Heriocs and am now tanking in Kara.........pffffftttt what a mouth full!

hehe, as you can see, as a druid you own all! ;)

have fun with your druid m8!

I duo with a rl friend who plays warrior and we have a blast.

For instances you can play healer or dps depending on what other classes are available. It's always easy to put a group together.

Duo grinding is awesome. He charges in while I sneak around back and the mobs dont stay standing for long. Post-40 with Improved Leader of the Pack, sometimes we go nonstop for five minutes without a single heal. Zero downtime, superfast killing, high survivability. Fun.

In pvp a balance/resto druid and an arms/fury warrior are a great pair. I can keep the two of us alive through all sorts of pain and he can keep the rogues off of me and squish the squishies fast.
