Is Imp Reincarnation a worthwhile talent? it gives u a ton of death flexibility and if ur a raid healer ur group will almost never truly "wipe". Any thoughts?
I find reincarnation invaluable whether soloing, pvping or raid/instancing. The ability to "pop" after a wipe is invaluable. This is 2 points I almost always spend. A very worthwhile talent IMO.
Not just for the reduced cooldown, but the extra health/mana is great; lets you use the ability as a combat rez instead of just wipe prevention. I've intentionally died while OOM to get the mana boost. Also nice for PvP to finish your foe off; they hardly ever expect it, and sometimes 20 silver and 40 minutes is worth the satisfaction.
The only problem is the reduced totem cost talent in the same tier, but I find imp reincarnation worth it regardless.

Let me first off say, combat rez is worthwhile, if you die on pure accident. I find that if a group lets their healer die, your in a **** load of trouble and a combat rez will still result in death a second time.
BUT - If you are smart, and you see an eminent wipe, and you get yourself positioned in a location where you can die and stay dead, then rez the group, it will most certainly help the group.
SOOO yes the points in improved reincarnation are worthwhile, and every shaman should have them. :)
