I agree with the poster above.
Although, I still want to throw in my 2 cents :)
I have a hunter lvl 62 and a two rogues - one BE lvl 50 and one UD lvl 29 (atm).
Hunter gets kind of boring fast, but they are amazing for leveling and farming if beastmaster specced. They can be fun to manage in instances as well (that's where you get to learn to use your skills!)
Rogue on the other hand is such a blast to play. I got my BE to lvl 50, only to find out that I wanted an undead because 1) they are so much cooler appearence wise and 2) WoTF is just imba. Knowing that I would do a lot of endgame pvp I would regret if I never made that undead. So I rerolled.
Sitting at lvl 29 right now, every level has been so fun. My hunter sends him gold, and when you are a decked in blues and good gear in such low levels as a rogue, you KICK MAJOR BUTTS! Seriously. He's not a twink with all the godly enchants and stuff, but I just buy him all the good gear avalible for his level.
Needless to say, I LOVE getting ganked. Most of the time I turn the tables around and gank my ganker. Classes +3-6 levels above me is nothing to scare you.
At level 25 I ganked a 32 mage. Go figure! And at lvl 26 I ganked a 30 hunter, and so on and so forth. You level very fast and you are outdps'ing everyone in instances (at least in WC, SFK, RFK, BFD - those I've played so far).
So yeah, if you got a little cash to spend (around 50-100g extra), I would make a semi-twink rogue because they are really really fun to play. Pick two gatering professions and the gold will come easily anyway (I suggest mining and disenchanting).
The most important thing is you are having fun. Rerolling from the start a third time is still fun with my rogue. So yea, there you have it.
