Hi,

I just started the Outland quests, and I've read about having to choose between Aldor and Scryers when you get to the city. Which of the two factions has better rewards for a rogue? If neither is clearly better, what are some of the main advantages of each? Thanks.

I went scryers, it has a lot of caster gear but has a great lvl 70 epic dagger for when you get exalted
Retainers Dagger i do believe it is called.

Depending on what your final build will look like, go Aldor if you want a sword, or go scryers if you want a dagger. The scryer dagger (retainers blade) is pretty quick, making a good off-hand weapon if you are not a mutilate rogue.

The Scryer's also has a damn good belt that goes well with the Assassination set.

Thanks for the advice...to clarify, I'm Sub-specced with daggers. Also, are there better LW recipes with a certain faction? That could also play a role. I also heard that the Aldor are more for casual players (like me), while the Scryers are for people more centered on raids. Does this play a big part?

I believe the Consortium faction has the best leatherworking recipes for a rogue, I honestly never payed any attention to the Scryer ones, probably for good reason.
