Rumors surrounding DoomgaurdsFollow

There is a rumor in my sever that i dont know if it is true or not. Being only lvl 49. Anyway someone had told me that you are only allowed to summon a Doomgaurd a certain amount of times or you will get baned. Is this tue? I hope not.

that makes no sense, considering that curse of doom procs doomguards. and why would they give us a spell that they would then ban us for if we used it too much? (this applies to the ritual as well)

I'd love to see the group that agrees to sacrifice themselves for your pet.

LMFAO, well it happens all the time, usualy folks get a Doomguard summoning party, ya know with a rezer.... it is a game so when you die it just takes a healer to click a button and bring you back. it is not like you loose EXP or even item durrability......

I think where this comes from is when high level warlocks would summon one in a low level area or in the AH building where lots of lowbies usualy sit and let them loose. I think the GM's frown upon this, same thing for when people kite world bosses into towns just to see the havock it causes.

Yes Ancalagon is right this rumor is based on a true fact. There are warlocks who like to summon a Doomguard or an infernal, bring him to an auction house or a newbie town and let him break loose while they run away and contemplate the massacre. If you do this you might really get banned, if you don't then summon as much Doomguards as you want.

This is true with the Infernal, but not with the DoomGuard I can safely assure you all.

The doomguard, upon breaking loose from a fleeing Warlock, will "fly" back to the Warlock at what seems like 200+% increased speed and unleash hell.

Haha, stupid 65 Alliance Locks, I tell ya...

I would say as a 70 lock.. who cares about doom guards or infernals....??? or how often they proc.. id waste anyone that wonders, with my affliction talents.. wipe your ***. and learn.. doom guard as well as inferno = you are a dumbass, for even bothering..

get real, they are like curse of Doom.. no actual application to pvp.

unless you just wanna ***** around and act bad as a pve person

and btw al. i would say.. most undead locks are ******.. i fear much more meeting an orc one.. an orc warlock thats lvl 55+ = much more skilled than an undead +55 lvl.. and i wipe them fast.. not to mention they just get HELLA MORE DAMAGE, than any class does thru spells.. just takes them 12-18 seconds

So you are telling me that UD warlocks, with their anti-fear/seduce racial are easy opponents for other warlocks, right...

... so every warlock I've fought since 2.0 must've been a real sucker, because I defeated any that didn't have a big advantage over me (like say, catching me at >40%health or 1 or 3 friends to help him kill me).

Or maybe i'm just terribly lucky, who knows...

PS: Orcs can usually output more damage thanks to their racial, but in fights were people get feared I can pop out of fear easy and continue wrecking the enemy while my orcish friends run around like headless chickens.
