I'd say Dark Pact/Ruin, but someone will probably disagree.

You basically lack everything that makes either talent tree a good PvP build, but Dark Pact and Ruin means you crit for a lot and you never, ever run out of mana.

For Raiding and PvE...

Affliction/Destruction. I prefer Affliction 100%. Destruction is good, too.. if you want to be a mage. Demo isn't bad, just doesn't bring it to a level 70 PvE environment the way Affliction does (or destruction..)

For Non-arena PvP...

Any spec is good.

For Arenas..

Depends on which type. In 2vs2, all specs are decent if played right. However, in 5vs5, a demo/affliction build is the only successful option. Depends on how successful you want to be VS what spec you prefer and have fun with.

In any case, if your still leveling, here is the stickied advice:

1-50 Affliction
50-70 You can stay Affliction or go Demo. However, myself and many others will tell you how beautiful Affliction is for solo questing after 60 (demo is pretty nuts in the 50s, but falls off around 62-64ish).

I am 70 and been for a while and although I respecced some 5-6 times trying all the different builds, I found myself in 7/43/11 which is pretty full demo.
And I love it so much I dont even think of changing anything.

I can solo great and my felguard tanks better than some warriors I met.

There are different reasons why people say demo is not good for this or that, but not least of them is just expecting too much from minion and not giving anything in return. Yes, he needs few more talents and bit of maintenance, so what? I find him giving me plenty in return.
