Guild Hunter RequirementsFollow

I have been looking into to Guilds and 1 of them has some requirements for Hunters I don't understand.

Hunters must have atleast 100 unbuffed Fire resistance. Also, if they join the guild with the required 100, they are still expected to improve on this FR. You are little good if you die halfway through heavy fire resist fights. Also, focus on getting some nature resistance for certain fights

I can train my pet for fire and nature resistance is that what they are talking about?

Ask the GM or an Officer of this Guild if they have forgotten to update their entry requirements since TBC was released and they stopped running MC/BWL.

Fire resistance is great for the few situations it's needed, just as all of the other resists are. But a strict focus on FR was a reaction to the mobs in MC/BWL, and those places have howling wastelands, devoid of adventurers since TBC was released. If they still have those requirements posted it's either an oversight or you should seek another Guild.

Adding on to the above post, if you look for level 55-60 hunter gear, you'll note that quite a lot of it has +fire resistance on it. The irony is that much of it requires a guild to obtain...

Guilds that required 100+ for entry were setting themselves up to only take in members who had already been kicked out of other guilds for one reason or another. Seems like a bad policy to me...

though it is a good idea to have available gear so you can swap out for up to 100 resistance to any school without hurting your dps much.
