Okay, I just want some opinions of other priests on whether Benediction is still worth getting (I would actually use Anathema, as I am shadow). It just seems like getting into a 40 man MC raid to possibly get the quest start item might be a waste of time with all the outland stuff available. It seems to be kind of a shame that the former "uber" priest staff is outdated and outclassed by outland greens and blues. Just wondering what everyone thinks, is Benediction still worth the time and effort, or just skip it?
Not worth it. First of all, I doubt you'll find people wanting to do MC. And even if you do, there's a chance that the quest starter for the hunter quest will drop instead of what you need. Besides, it will be upgraded relatively quickly once you hit Outlands. Skip it.
Totally agree... you will get better staff(s) by level 62 or 63 in the outlands... It is a huge quest chain and worth it pre-BC, but not so much now other than as proof of your dedication. But if you want dedication proor, then go after the Warlord's Battle staff in BG's or the Arena.
Regardless, unless you are passing away time and/or helping guildies in the 58 - 59 bracket level, I would not waste my time on getting it.

I'd say skip it as well, but I must say, I am glad I have mine. It just looks so cool and makes you feel a lot more priestly with it. Then again, it is a "Kill me I'm a healer" sign in PvP.
