#1 May 04 2007 at 3:27 PM Rating: Decent
im considering making a rouge and its mainly for pvp only pvp lvl 19 ot 29 twink so should it be horde or alliance
alliance has - nightelfs or humans (gnomes are horible rouges they got 1 thing is let them free of movement so shut up about gnomes)

wat is the best out of nightelfs or humans of alliance

horde - undead or troll (bloodelfs are horrible rouges mana tap suck lol)

undead has fear remover but troll has 30% faster attack speed

ok troll or human wats better
horde or alliance horde wat wins mostly lol

not bloodelfs, have nothing good.
there's a ton of undead rogues - and i gues they can be good - i like orcs though because of Blood Fury.

lol...
gnomes are the best alliance-side rogues for PVP. humans come a close second due to perception. the dwarf stoneform is good too, but not as much as human/gnome racials.
Horde-side, undead owns all for PVP, probably followed by orc. Troll sucks, and bloodelf is ok.

Overall though, i'd say you'll be most suited to a night elf "rouge"

Gnomes own because u cant frigging click them >_>"

Orc is nice with the dmg boost, but i prefer an extra fear/charm trinket.

I'd never go with a human rogue, no way, EVER. PERIOD.
- But thats just me xD

All the races are good. Gnomes are hardly the "best".

Night Elf- A level 70 night elf rogue with 5/5 master of deception and a stealth enchant on his cloak is invisible (for players to detect these rogues, the rogue has to walk directly through them).

Human- Perception makes a human rogue the best anti-rogue/druid in the game.

Gnome- Gnome Rogues cannot be kited.

Dwarf- Stoneform rules.

Orc- Not so strong of rogues anymore since the racial nerf. Still pretty decent, and their racial makes for some nasty ambushes.

Undead- WoTF = Overpowered. A rogue who can't be feared is a rogue who never loses.

Troll- Trolls have the highest agility rating out of any of the classes. Berserk can pull off some crazy numbers too.

Blood Elf- The best anti-caster class. Silence pwns you.

As you can see, they're all good.

I know what you can make out of those to make a rouge, NOTHING..... I'm positive there isn't a make-up trade skill that lets you make lipstick and face blush and what not. ROUGE IS FRENCH RED MAKE UP..... Please tell me what race can be a rouge, I want to play them. It would be pretty hard to pound into make-up.

Your statement on Blood Elves is incorrect.
Have you looked at Mana Tap and Arcane torrent together, it gives you 10 Energy per Mana tap affecting you. Who doesn't want an extra 10 energy???

There is no "best race" for Rogues. Just as there is no best "class" or spec. It's how you play your character.

it also takes a minute and a half to set up.

It's more of an ******* button or something to help extend stunlocks. It's not an ability to spam, it's one you keep around until you can use it to its highest potential.

By the way, it's only one minute to set up. Mana Tap - 30 second wait - Mana Tap - 30 second wait - Mana Tap.

Dude in pvp or pve if a caster is left alive long enough for you to tap and then have the oppurtunity to use it your seriously doing something wrong. Plus if its a bad situation, you shouldnt even be worrying about manatapping.

your taking your concentration away from your attacks and from the situation at hand.

[theres this macro that blinds without targetting the victim, you have to only put your curser over them, maybe tap will work with it, it works for sheep and such]

Caster starts kiting you?

Deadly Throw and Mana Tap (taking that mana away DOES help).

Plus, the returning energy part of the racial isn't what dominates: it's the silence on Arcane Torrent.

CS -> Mut -> Ks -> Mut -> AT -> Mutilate and Evis.

That combo keeps them from being able to ever once throw off an instant cast fear or the like.

Horde - Undead no question. WoTF is just amazing. A little extra damage here and there is nothing compared to such a powerful racial as WoTF. When the patch comes, undead rogues will become even more powerful compared to other horde rogues because of the trinket nerf.

Alliance - Gnomes hands down. Instant anti-snare ready EVERY MINUTE!? That's just too good. The size of the gnome and the extra start agi is two other reasons why this race excels at being rogues.
