go to the petopia main page. click on boars. click on charge. that will tell you what boars teach charge 4 (under "rank 4"). then copy the name of one of them and paste it into the search function either here or on wowhead, go to the NPC tab (same on either site) and click on the mob. there will be a map location for it.

Yeah, I still cant find where to learn Charge rank 4.
I've checked the Boar link in Petopia, Clicked each boar, and there is no charge rank 4.
It goes from Rank 3 to Rank 5.. Rank 4 has to be somewhere..

That should take you to the charge page, where it says "no known creatures can learn this skill." under rank 4. this means there is no rank 4, because the blizzard dev's dont know how to count.

Direct Quote from Petopia:

"Charge 4: Pet Level 36 (17 TP). Charges an enemy, immobilizes it for 1 sec, and adds 250 melee attack power to the boar's next attack.

No known creatures have this skill when tamed"

Unfortunately no one has found a Rank 4 Charge on any Boar. This is due to the fact there are no 30-40 level boars. The highest level boar you can get is 26, then it starts over again at level 48. In between 27 and 47 there are no boars at all in the game. This is where Rank 4 Charge would of come into play. Pet level 36 is where you would have learned it, but seeing as there are no level 36 Boars you cannot learn Rank 4, you must wait until lvl 48 to learn Rank 5 unfortunately.

You may also notice that Boars get the ability called "Gore". Ranks 5 and 6 you are unable to learn because you would need to find a boar that is level 32 for Rank 5, and a boar that is level 40 for Rank 6.

You can always use a Wolf as your pet. People just suggest boars because of their stats and versatility.

Well, thanks for the Food for Thought, This really does lessen the chance that I will be using a boar much longer.. Guess I'm going to have to buff up my Black Ravenger Mastif abit more ^^ Wolves FTW

There is a "hole" in boar skills - it's not that bad, though. Easy to plow through. Where it hurts is if you're going to park a long while in a related BG. Then you got what is still a great pet - but should have a little more oomph.

Just train a lvl 40-whatever boar on the other side of the hole if you want.

For some reason my boar has the charge , gore , bite and also a sprint or dash or something aswell ... It adds 60% speed burst for 15 seconds but seems to conflict with the charge ... So I turn it off ... Whats the point of the 2 speed skills if they really don't work ? Can I train my pet at some point to do something else instead of the dash or whatever it is ?

Yes you can and should.

It makes little sense, but boars can have Charge and Dash - but they share the same timer. You probably just want Charge - I think it's much better.

Just find a hunter trainer, and near him is a pet trainer - think about what you want first - pay (a tiny amount) to reset pet skills. I'd do Charge, Growl, and Gore - and maybe bite, too. If you have a focus regen'ing talent, Gore is really good. W/out one you may want to go Bite, Growl, charge.

You can alwas go bite, gore, growl charge - and keep bite or gore off if it burns up too much focus.

If you want "a really fast pig" and you're BM spec'd, and you wanna spend the point - try Bestial Swiftness and Charge - the pig is 30% faster w/ b.s. and then charges once he's in charge-range. I know a few hunters who have sworn by this combo in BGs. (pve this isn't really necessary). GL!
