Pull-Kite-Evade issueFollow

Anyone else ever have the problem where every time you try to kite a mob, before you can get em to 50% they start evading and then reset?

Once or twice he's just reset, but it'll happen where he'll get stuck in the same spot, glitched out, and I'll spam shots for like 20 seconds while he just evades then he'll run back to his hut.

Once you see "Evade," stop shooting.

They'll enter evade mode if you go too long without hitting them (thus, they cancel combat and leash back to their normal area), or if at any point you shoot them from a spot where they can't try to fight back.

As said above, if they enter evade mode, it's because something went wrong with the kite.

Is there any formula or maths to work out how much aggro you need to pull them a certain distance?
Does the aggro needed increase as they get further or over time?

you just have to shoot them every so often. No aggro or range or anything, just taking an actual shot will keep them coming for you.
Jump-shot serpent sting if you want to conserve mana i guess.
