I'm a combat swords rogue, when starting of with CS should i immediately go into a 2 cp SnD or should I build up and hit evis or rupture or sumthing? Also, are base sword stats (different than attack speed) greater than those of daggers, do they do mroe damage? Does one actually do mroe dmg than another?
the efficiency depends on the life and armor of the mob, basically how fast you can kill it. if you can kill it before the snd is up then go for it, but soloing i like to just slam the damage home most of the time. i haven't been combat swords in a long time, but for casters slam the damage and if it's high armor then mabye use snd. i dont' like rupture on mobs, only bosses for the most part and pvp. rupture is just a poor alternative to evisc. for a rogue, it hardly ever ticks the whole way through, you'll never get a full rupture. just evisc at the end.
rupture can be good to grind with all you have to do is have crippling poision on one of your weapons and wait for a 4-5 points then rupture when the mob is almost dead and kite him just run back a little bit and the mob should be dead at your feet and then start your grinding again
