I still see nothing better than +5 weapon damage.

Mongoose on both daggers is just silly for a mutilate rogue- the speed increasing effect isn't all that good, especially for how much it costs. Mongoose on one dagger is a must, and if the agility stacked from dual procs it would be a must as well. So yea, is there anything out there better than the good ole' standard of +5 weapon damage?

Fiery is about as good as crusader and or 15agi at level 70 (especially on slower weapons). It's very cost effective for main hands (or both hands for mute) as it's only like 20-30g on most servers. Other than that, you're currently limited to mongoose (and like you said +5). Luckly, +7 to 1h is avaliable on the PTR, so if you have something good to put it on (and the mat costs really aren't that high), wait.

On another note, mongoose is still the best MH or OH enchant in the game, and the effect does indeed stack. It works the same way as crusader does (IE procs from MH + OH stack and procs from the same hand refresh).

I'm pretty sure only the speed effects stack on mongoose. Almost certain, even.

I'm 100% certain that it does stack man. I have 3-4 friends with 2x mongoose and they all report it stacking in the same way as crusader (IE: stacks when each hand procs it). I can probably get you before and after screan shots with 240 extra agi if you really want...

just as i raved LS before bs... i stick to my life gain trends and im a battlemaster rogue now

mongoose seems cool, but not worth it in offhand i think (unless ur offhand is 1.5 or faster, so mainly dagger rogues)

15 agi isnt bad... 20 str is 20 ap, and while that isnt too good.. the glow is cool lookin

and i think +7 dmg to 1h is comin next patch? that would be a nice jump of a dagger enchant hehe

ming mentioned a 7 dmg enchant on a recent post, so i think maybe he found in the ptr's or something

imo:
mongoose
15 agi/5 dmg tied
fiery/crus tied
LS is trash now is it procs only 18 damage at most

battlemaster is just a side option for the life gain rogue

life gain rogue = twin battlemaster, dm heroism, mark of conquest, meta gem that procs small heal (tenacious earthstorm diamond), and maybe a lil hp5 gear (thats always been optional)

if you went full out for it anyways, im just the twin trinket twin b-master

one week till gladiator mh fist!! :D

Mongoose does stack, both effects. Seems you're right sir. That settles it then.

So then whats the price comparison between mongoose and +7 to 1hnd. Also, how much difference does it make, im a fan boy of the cold hard +dmg enchants because they dont have to proc to be usefull.

Mongoose has a very high chance to proc. One mongoose proc = +10 weapon damage basically, plus it hastes you up to not only apply poison damage but make the other one proc as well. If both mongoose effects proc, you not only gain a mini-slice and dice, but you're almost guaranteed to always have +240 Agi (+20 Weapon damage, ~8% crit, ~8 Dodge) and an insanely fast deadly poison proc rate.

It's a very good setup if you ask me, especially since the enchant has such a high proc rate anyway.

I thought it had the same proc rate as crusader ?

Crusader enchant on my Legionnaire's ***************** AWESOME!! Gives you 100 STR for 15 seconds and can heal you from 75-125 (not that much, but thats not why you get this enchant). Critting while you have the 100 STR is great!

It's a lot more effective at level 40 then at level 70.

Anyway, from what I know, Mongoose is much, much more expensive than any other rogue enchant available. I guess it would vary server to server, however.
