ok, got some relics that effect healing. so now i wanna create macros to autoswitch them.
i need hep writing them.
what i'm looking for is a 1 button push to equip the item then cast the spell.
i have Libram of the Lightbringer and Blessed Book of Nagrand
I want one macro to equip the Libram of the Lightbringer and then casts Holy Light
and another that equipts Blessed Book of Nagrand and casts flash of light.
someone mentioned cool down, but it's equiptment and i don't think it has a cooldown since the effect is acquired by wearing it, not using it.
which riases another question, can "relics" be swapped during combat?

There are macros that let you switch items when you use different skills, but you can't change equipment during battle. The best thing you could do is have Blessed Book of Nagrand during trash mob fights and Libram of the Lightbringer during boss fights.
And yes, there is only a cooldown if it's a use item. If it is an equip effect, it's effective immediately.

since it's a relic, and in the spot that a range weap would be in for hunters, is'nt it safe to assume that it can be swapped during combat? just like a sword or shield can be swapped?
You should be able to equip them in battle, but you'll need to press the macro twice. Changing gear in combat (meaning weapons, offhands/shield, and ranged weapon slots) activates global cooldown.

yes, you can switch relics during combat, I do it all the time, you get that one second cooldown on all abilities and gear, but other than that, you can switch.
