Yeah...I was in a group...they all screwed off and I left. Then I get messages saying "we need you."

HAHAHA! "We need you" directed at a hunter. That's priceless. More people DIDNT quote Napolean Dynamite during it's popularity than say they need hunters to come back to the group.

Holy crap. Did you screenshot the "We need you."? It'll be worth millions here soon.

And another thing thats rare, I got a tell from someone I didn't know to join a half-PUG group to an instance yesterday. Needless to say, I was amazed that I was asked to join a group over a Mage or even a shoe...

You know when you post titles in caps, you're considered a noob by many people =P.
But that doesn't come to much a surprise to me, I'm a very skilled hunter and my mates will often ask me to join their instance groups. Not to brag or anything *g*

you would get invited a lot more if you had a carrion bird as pet.

You know when you post condescending replies to folks in lower case, you're considered a jerk by many people =P.
But that doesn't come to much a surprise to ME. (Notice, end of sentence...correct punctuation...) I'm generally a nice person who doesn't nit pick little things on the forums unless someone is being a dingleberry. Not to brag or anything \:

Lol, the Hunter forum is still alive and well :-)

Its good to see you being needed with all the negative opinion out there. I personaly never look for pug's when I need a group but do get invited to a lot through other guildmates. My advice to all hunters is to be the best puller/cc'er/traper and squishy protector that you can be and watch this negativity to our class decline.

On another totally unrelated topic. We where stuggling for enough guildies for a Kara run the other night and ended up taking in 3 (three) hunters... moroes was a cinch :-)

It was only a joke... lighten up man. Anyhow, you're angry I told that guy he had to use punctuation? Well, he had to. Look at all the people who backed me up! And I don't nitpick unless I have to =P. Ask my good buddies and frequent posters Iponema, Aethien, Caldone, etc [sorry about everyone else I missed, I don't want to spend all day typing since I am a very popular guy *g*]

Besides, Arthas was right. All caps heading usually means that the contents of the post will in most cases prove damaging to your mental health, and lower the collective IQ of the boards by five percent.

It is just an advice, but not heeding it might prove unwise later on.

I always am, thanks NorthAI. But scribs, I tried to tell you in a joking way so sorry if I came across harsh. But do heed my advice, it will help you later on =P.

Yeah I felt the post warranted caps. I post a lot on here, and I rarely use caps titles (unless it's abbreviations...which is okay imo).

i always seem to get kicked from groups being a hunter for a mage or, even a lock, just because im a hunTARD and i dont do well in groups, just recently i got kicked from a group for SM LIB for a lvl 30 mage, thats right, a lvl 30 in SM LIB instead of a lvl 37 hunter

some people just dont give us respect

Ouch, that's just no fair.

I do get some invites. I use the LFG tool sometimes when farming. Also I've run a lot of dungeons and have gotten some invites to heroics recently which unfortunately I haven't been able to take.

There is NOTHING wrong with hunter DPS in 5-man dungeons.

The hunter forums seem... lacking lately...
It's probaly because I've been gone =P

But I see the OP got some rate downs. Even me myself rating him "Good" didn't change it. Lets cut him some slack and rate him UP to counter the ratedowns.

Now, for all the snipers who want a target, go after this poster...

As a hunter I have been invited to PUG's for SM armory and Uldaman, and both times I got compliments on how I was one of the few "non-huntards" because I actually knew how to kite and control my pet, and do stuff like turn off growl so he doesn't take aggro off tank. I was also topping the damage charts, which had the two mages amazed. As a priest, I try to spend as little time in main cities I can because people won't stop sending me tells to join their PUG's.

I recently have been getting tells like crazy on Sulldoon because I went with a PUG group into Kara. Now I get tells all the time to go back, simply because they need a "universal" CC, WHICH IS F-IN AWESOME!!! They take me over mages, the only thing they say they "need" is 1 Hunter and 2 Priests, holy or shadow doesnt matter- they need the Shackle, and 2 Locks for Banish.

First time they invited me they said "We have never run with a hunter in Kara, so we will see how it goes" I guess they liked what they saw :P. So I guess I did my part in helping the hunter reputation out XD

Ohh yeah man. The good thing about us hunters is that we can ice trap almost everything in kara, which makes it easier on the healers and makes us that much more valuelble than a mage :) . I can easily keep 1 thing cc'ed forever, as long as they dont hit too hard onc they come out.
