Hello everybody,

I am new to the Shaman class. I’ve have leveled up my shaman to lvl 16 now. And I haven’t decided on how, or which spec to go. Also I’m not sure if Jewelcrafting/mining is the right profession to go, would leatherworking & skinning be better for the Shaman class.
Please post example spec builds and reasons on why which one would be preferred.

Thank you,
Jhua

This is what I made up, not sure if it would be a good Enhanc/Elem Shaman, be mainly Enhanc. in lower levels.

Hullo,

I'm a new Enhancement shammie too. I have gone five in shield spec like you and I'm currently slotting up my Critical strikes skill. Unlike you I will be taking 2 handed weapons and Enhance totems and Guardian totems with my next five points although Anticipation and Shield Spec should help with your grinding.

As for skill selection I went skinning/leather and have found it very profitable. On my server (I'm Horde btw) there never seems to be any low leather armour available in the AH and I make money hand over fist selling Embossed Leather Jerkins and Boots.

At the end game I intend to respec to Elemental but at the moment I am really enjoying my Shammie.

This is the best leveling build from 1-60. At 60+, Elemental becomes great for leveling because you can start to get really good gear for it.
