wellllllll all i can tell you is go balance or maybe feral though feral i dont know if hes human he has perception and cat form wont work i get mad when dueling moonkin because they just shapshift out and heal though i still manage to beat em even as a frost mage and when i get into a pinc just summon elemental and ice block come out of ice block use my mana gem and frostbolt him but still you might have some trouble though he seems to have wasted a few talent points 1 point in impact lol and he invested points into arctic winds sad sad but link me what spec you are plannin my guild leader is a druid and can prob judge it for you though all i can tell you when dueling its about 50% skill 25% gear and 25% luck if he has better gear than you your screwed and the luck part well if he lands a bunch of crits your dead if you land a bunch of crits your dead the skill well i dont know you might win in that area you might lose.

recommend balance. use the trees -- they aren't a serious threat (damage) to an ice mage

Lol they dont do serious damage to any enemy. Hehe they are a nice ditraction though. It wont do much damage, but it'll interrupt his casting time if he doesnt get rid of them.

As someone said, DONT go moonkin. Thats about the dumbest thing you could do. You can specc into feral a little bit to get feral charge. That could and should make him mad. His water elemental isnt that big of a deal, but like your treants it can really annoy if you dont get rid of it. Just root it and go on with your business.

Dont spec Resto and try to outlast him. You will lose that way. Period. End of Story. Here have a cookie.

Feral you'll most likely lose unless you crit the **** out of him with ravage. As they've said he's just going to keep freezing you and you'll go oom pretty fast.

Well you definately have some advantages over him, but my God this wont be easy. Just be glad your not fighting a BM hunter. Now that my friend, is death to your druid.

lmao well lets put it this way.. i dueled a resto druid... he didn't hit me once o.o lol and i let my elemental do most of the dmg lol so. good luck. and beware of that elemental.. alot of ppl seem to under estimate him but if u dont pay attention all hit little water bolts dmg will add up and before u know all that time u were chasin that mage around is going to bite u in the ***** lets put it like this the druid i fought was 55 and so was I. i cast one frost bolt, and i think one nova and a blink. the rest my elemental while i just avoided him. so yeah dont let the elemental just keep firing waterbolts at u while u run around trying to get the mage lol cuz as a frost he can avoid u pretty easily with frostbite, nova, ice barrier.

im not saying im a pro im just used to avoiding ppl cuz as a mage you have to dodge alot crap ><

Ok I'm a frost mage and theres two things your gonna have to make sure doesnt happen. One is a sheep right at the start. So Id suggest moonkin. Thats gonna have you at least 1400 damage already. And the big one is frost nova. If I freeze someone and frostbolt/ice lance its around 4800 damage. Stay away from the freezes. Other than that treants are a big prob for mages, so those are a big help. Moonfire and wrath spam is always good too, cause if you try a starfire youll get counterspelled. GL

Try pull his counterspell with a hearthstone, so you can freely heal.

polymorph is useless against any kind of druid. while in cat/bear/travelform they cannot be polymorphed and if you sheep them while they are in oomkin or natural form they can remove it just by shifting to travel/cat/bear.

don't spam moonfire for background damage. you'll be oom before you can say "bob's your uncle". wrath can be counterspelled just like starfire can be. but starfire could be talented to have a chance to stun. and it's more damaging and more efficient.

The elemental can be used while in the ice block. Mage will be immune to anything that you do to him, but pet will be frostbolting the beejeebus out of you. Prepare for this to happen at the very begining of the dual. I do it all the time. It really breaks the moral of the person Im dualing esp. when after its off I cold snap and bring the pet back. Druids can get away from my frost mage but beat me....yet to happen to me in a straight up fight. Best of luck

Im going to say he lost. Frost mages own in PvP. Anytime, Anywhere. Just beat a friend who specced over 3 times with his druid and never came up with a single win. Frost Mages FTW.

He probably did as his friend must have had much better gear than him - ohh and btw - frost mages aren't invincible - for a feral it's totally doable - at least if one is decently geared for it (means sitting on at least 1500 AP i kitty, and a fair amount of HP and good crit %)

Even so, thats alot of stuff to be asking for. Even in dire bear form, with the huge armor boost, frost mages will (most of the time) win.

Actually that's almost nothing to ask for from a druid who has played feral from lvl 60, but nvm... most druids, specced for PvP, will sit on @25%crit, 1600AP at least + tons of stam... Trust me, the quest rewards from outlands and the old PvP set is a crazy combo!

I don't think U will be able to kill him. Druids are STRONG,and mages STRONGER. You could MAYBE fight him when U have lvl70 and then go to raids an' those things...

So, WHo did end up winning this fight and gaining 1000g?

I have both druid & frost mage. It is hard for a druid to beat good frost mage imo. But it can be done but it not easy. If you plan on out lasting him I advise to use feral but have alot mana gear on so you can switch back heal self as needed, can use maim & bear charge when possible this will stun him hopefully threw him out of balance. I also would made sure I have high resist to frost this will force some of fire spell that cost more mana. Your whole battle plan is to keep him off balance.
