On a less positive note, I found out this morning at 6:30 that if a steamroller drives by my house at only a few meters distance my house shakes violently enough to wake me up.

Last night, around 11:15, our fire alarm went off, because of damage to the system. So I had to move a student to a new room. An hour later, when I could finally get back in bed, I couldn't fall asleep. So today's day of hell is being faced with about 2.5 hours total.

I just want to crawl under a table and nap...

I feel like such a limpdick at the office. I got a notification from Linkedin to "endorse" someone in the office for a skill someone else recommended them for. So I clicked the endorse button and was whisked to my Linkedin homepage, which is pretty barren. The rest of the office have fully decked out homepages with all kinds of info and horse manure about how great they are at this and that.

I then looked at my page and thought, "I should put up a photo, and add info about my experience, and add some skills for people to endorse, and accept those 10 invitations, and look through the recommendations because I know a lot of those people, and send out some invitations . . . and then I logged out and came to browse zam instead.

Maybe I should list that as one of my skills. You guys would endorse me for "Pointless and Inane Jibber-Jabber" wouldn't you?

The problem with social media is that it's rarely social, most of it is just a big ol' circlejerk.
