I know, right? Also, you've been hanging out too much in the Asylum. You're getting meaner every day.
Or he's just getting grumpier with age.

How do you know you're not getting more sensitive?

Summer is approaching, which increases my workload daily, which isn't so bad in theory but some of the emails and phone calls I have to deal with are ridiculous. My favorites are the "Hey, do I get to keep the gun" questions.

Also, my sense of humor matched that of the social life in the teacher's room.

Haven't decided if this is awesome, or just very very scary. It may be both, let me get back to you on this.
I have personal experience socializing with teachers. Take my word on it, it's not awesome. It is very very scary.

Not sure if lolgaxe is the twisted one or his subordinates are the twisted ones. Playing it safe, they're all twisted.

But what is the thought process there? "This must be like that time in fifth grade when I went to band camp and they let me keep the flutophone."

A butt plug with a whistle? How's that work? Mexican for lunch and then toot Mozart all afternoon?

That sounds . . . fascinating . . .

I try not to think about it. I try really, really hard not to think about it. It helps a little knowing that they'll probably be the first ones to cry at boot camp, but only a little. This is why I always have a ready supply of whiskey in my drawer. For my coffee.

It's socially unacceptable to drink or take drugs at work, Aeth.

That's why we pour our alcohol into cups of liquid stimulant at work.

Knew I shouldn't have poured water in that whiskey. It's rehydrating my heart.

also never pour water in whiskey. use ice cubes, cools it a bit and adds a bit of water but not too much.

or just drink your whiskey neat, like a man

I was supposed to be able to take one day from home per week, particularly because shore traffic makes my 90 commute far, far worse on Fridays.

In reality, I've worked from home once.

Well, no, I've worked from home twice. But the second time was so I could start writing a document even earlier, to give us more time before the submission deadline, instead of wasting it on a commute.

I shall help you hope that the humongous thunderstorm we had here today travels up north. It's been remarkably pleasant here today once the rain and thunder went away.
