Question: If you take a two year old running as fast as she can in one direction, and add in a 5 year old going as fast as she can in the opposite direction, what kind of force is exerted when their heads bonk into each other?
Well, either way it got me an extra day off of work I guess. Everyone seems to be fine other than a couple of nasty bumps on the head, though you can never really tell with a 2 year old.
On the plus side I finally discovered Rift, and I think it's interesting enough to keep me from wanting to come back to WoW, at least for the time being. I like the variety in character builds they let you have, and the rifts haven't gotten old yet. Though I can see that coming. I logged in early in the morning the other day, only to find my new zone completely completely overrun with undead thingies. First time I had ever been there, I went through the portal, and was like umm... wtf, this doesn't look right. I was level 18 with 20-30 level 20 mobs standing a few feet from me. It took a few seconds for it to sink in that, hey, they took over the camp, and unless I clear them out, I'm not doing any questing today.
Anyway, I got them cleared after a bit, but got run over a couple of times by rampaging packs elsewhere in the zone. When there's no one (or at least not enough people) online at odd hours those things seem to take over quickly. I'll be ready for them next time though.

This.
While it sounds straight forward enough, that's one less thing taking up space in the fridge for a week.
