I'm not a Viking, but I'm from Scotland. I think the only Europeans that come here are Maz, Aeth, Kali, and yourself. I might be missing one, since I've only just woken up and I'm super tired.

I'm not a Viking, but I'm totally (mostly) European, too!

Also, I think arranged marriage is just really really wrong in a lot of cases. D:

Been gone a week. Drank a lot of beer and whisky and such. Spent most of today reading up on this thread. And burrying my grandpa.

I see everything is how I left it. And Aeth has interwebs again.

Yeah, that certainly has some truth to it. Lingering for a long time with cancer doesn't sound like a fun way to go.

Also welcome back and stuff. Smiley: grin

Had a bunch of guildies on tonight for the first time in a while. We finally got a guild clear of a raid, BoT.

Most of the people, 9 guildies(one was an unguilded lock we invited at the start) + 1 PuG healer, hadn't killed Council before. Cho was easier than Council in the end.

Either way I was happy. No way we would of done this with the group pre-nerf. New Cho was a push over compared to 4.1 Cho. But still it feels like an achievement. I just hope people keep showing up so we can gear some folks and get involved with Firelands while it is current.

Also I got me a Malevolence.

Grats Horse, that's an awesome staff.

We got the spider boss down in Firelands tonight and I gots me a pretty new robe! Seriously the robe off her is so awesome looking, but it looks rather silly with the toilet bowl shoulders. Look at my priest's armory if you don't believe me. =x I also hit honored, so I got my belt, and I won the roll to decide who gets to collect the embers for the legendary staff, yay! Our raid leader did make the caveat that whoever goes first has to pass on any weapon upgrades until all the other casters have one. Although by that time, hopefully I will have already gotten the first stage of the staff. At the rate we're going (downing one boss a week so far), we should have Rag down in five more weeks, and after that it should be pretty quick to get the 25 embers.

Played around with Willow tonight too. I think I'm going to heal with her now, since I really don't find boomkin fun anymore. It's kind of difficult to enjoy playing something that you know you aren't good at. =x At least it is for me. I might give Boomkin another shot at some point though. It's ridiculous how easy it is to heal as a druid though. I remember it being easy before, during 4.1, I think it's even easier now, which is ridiculous. Although I will admit, I really don't understand the reasoning behind keeping LB up on the tank at all times. If he's low on health, wouldn't it make sense to let it bloom and then put them up again? Or is that considered inefficient? The only thing I miss over my priest's healing, is shields. I really do love shield healing.

MOTHERF***ING APPLE!

So, I decided to finally install iOS 4 on my iPhone, but being on a brand new computer, I had to first download and install iTunes. So I did. And then I connected my iPhone to the computer and iTunes told me I should update the firmware to iOS 4, so I clicked 'Accept'. Then iTunes told me that installing a new firmware would delete my contacts so I should make a backup, so I did. I watched iTunes spend 15 minutes, or two cigarettes, doing a backup of my phone. And then it installed the new firmware and deleted all my contacts on the phone. So I connected the phone to the computer again and sync it with iTunes.

Except, and this is my favorite part, there was no backup. The only mother@#%^ing backup file on my computer is the one from two minutes ago when I finally found out that SYNCHRONIZATION OF CONTACTS IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT WHEN YOU INSTALL ITUNES!

So many texts, bookmarks and contacts... gone. Because Apple decided that when you install a sync program, syncing of all important data should be disabled by default and nothing should warn the user of it.

iTunes is seriously one of the worst programs I've used in a loooooong time. If I didn't have an iPod, I would so switch to something else. Whenever I download the new version (which it wants you to do every 2 weeks), it always deletes some of my music.

It does? I've never noticed that issue. If it does, maybe it just deletes the music I don't care about anyways. =x I really need to go through that sometime and weed out the **** I've collected from other people I've lived with.

I should weed out my music.

I have well over a gig of random bhangra that I still haven't even gone through completely, ugh.

Also, not using iTunes, it has its advantages to have an mp3 player that isn't an iPod.

But ipods are awesome! Seriously, I've tried a few other MP3 players, namely my android phone and a Samsung Walkman, and I can't stand the way they organize the music. Itunes and iPods are much easier to create playlists with.

I love my Classic 120gb iPod. That's only because of the size of the space, though. Too much trouble to keep switching songs all the time.
