Warrior about to go bye byeFollow

Well Im not familiar with arena PVP; but protection wars can own in pvp battlegrounds if you know how to use them.

Here are some benifits

You can be a frontline fighter.
Your impervious to rogues and most other physical damage.
And if you organize your attacks, you can take out spellcasters with well timed shield bashes and deflections.

The only classes that can really ***** with a warrior is any intelligent

ranger, lock, or a good ice mage.

pallies... no! shield bash their heals

I think prot warriors in PVP are better in theory then in reality. I tried it for a while and it really sucked. Sure you can disarm / sheildbash / sheild slam / concus and spell reflect - but in my opinion its not a value add role. In order to do those things you have to up close - and honestly most of the time you are CCed. None of those prot abilities will cause any deaths - they are more just minor annoyances.

In my opinon the simple way to kill a prot warrior is to have a hunter stick their pet on you - you wont stand a chance.

Warriors ARE the weakest class in the game, period. And to make it more interesting, what would you think if Blizzard actually did this on purpose?

I mean, look at all the Warcraft RTS games. The classes in WoW all came from them. Hunters, mages, rouges, priests, paladins etc. (ok, maybe not warlocks). Now think of what role did the Warrior play in all these games. They were the most basic army units. They do the least damage, and have no special abilities. They're the dime-a-dozen cheap soldiers that are the most affordable to lose in battle.

So, would it be so far-fetched to think that Blizzard actually used their old games as design guides and therefore, deliberately designed warriors as the weakest class in the whole game?

Heck, they even showed an Orc warrior getting killed by a hunter in the TBC opening video.

Grunts were the weak class

Taurens in warcraft 3 could actually kick some ***

And a good portion of the hero's were close combat based warriors

I dont know about other wars out there but ive never been beaten by a rogue

Right, that's why there are 2 warriors on almost every top-tier 5v5 arena team, and also why the leading PvE guild(in the world[Nihilum]) has a Warrior main tank.

Stop QQing. The only thing that makes the warrior class weak, are weak players. Learn the extents and limitations of your class, and stop crying. Time spent in self-pity could be better spent practicing PvP, or reading up on better tanking strategies. Stop blaming Blizz for your gaming inadequacies.

The whole pallies with warrior armor thing does **** off warriors alot. Pallies are either tanks (protection) casters/healers (holy) or DAMAGE LIKE WARRIORS (RETREBUTION!) The moral of my poorly written story is, dont ninja, always ask b4 u need, also that pallies can be moulded so that they are a healing imitation of WARRIORS!

P.S. I do not hate warriors, I do not love pallies, I have more than one of each and i find that it all depends on how u play them, so dont instantly assume that a pally is a healer, I know a lot of ret pallies!

p.s.s. alts are fun!

in response to b*tching annoying guy who is reffering to warcraft 3 for WoW info i have something to say, "STFU!" I have beaten ALL the warcraft games (the RTS ones, duh) on EVERY difficulty and u NEED the warrior type units, most HEROES are warror type or mages.

P.S. the warriors are a necessity, u use the "dwarven riflemen" and its clones as pillows that do dmg!
