[Leviathan] Tribe - 12+ Years active, Turn 5 Completed 12/11Follow

#52 Nov 17 2013 at 2:28 AM Rating: Decent
I'd like to point out that Sharess is a little crazy sometimes, and some how sweet-talked Tribe's FC members to join him for two Titan HM's for his relics (as well as a few other members getting their relics that night, like Niyogi!). Just proves how much we care for our community :)

A little crazy was redtexted for sarcasm because he's completely crazy, right? o.O

As we get closer to the holiday season, remember that the best gift you can give yourself is that of a FC in FFXIV. ;)

Also, we're still looking for more people interested in raiding. :)

I know I am looking for latency fixes in Titan and Coil.

Once they resolve those I can't wait to try extreme primals!
#64 Dec 09 2013 at 9:20 AM Rating: Decent
We are all Super Pumped with the extreme HMs, new raids to do, PVP, Guild Housing, New HM Dungeons (I see Tonberries when I sleep thanks to WP lol)

Tribe is a family, we're for new and experienced players. We are always able to help new players to the game or MMOs in general, as well we are recruiting for our 8th and 9th Coil progression group. If interested in getting in a solid regular group of 8 people sign up msg what you’d like to/are available to raid on and we'll find a spot for you :)

I'm really excited for the latency fixes as an EU player. Another thing I'm excited for are the new pets and the treasure quests.

Hey all,

We are currently looking to recruit a WHM for our late night PST group. Normally we run Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 9pm PST. This is for a permanent spot provided you can make the raids (and are geared/skilled for coil). We just downed Turn 1 and are looking to make progress on Turn 2 later this week.

Check us out at tribegaming.com to apply or whisper me in game. Alfonso Chantrix

We just had another FFXIV member of ours post a Member Testimonial today and I wanted to share it with you guys:^

Quote:
Hello all! As many of you know I go by Flatts or Marc. I have been in Tribe since FFXIV launch and with these months in Tribe and all the new games on the horizon it seems like a good time to write a testimonal.

I have always been a fairly heavy MMO player dating back to the first few months of UO. Since that time I have played almost every major MMO for anywhere from a few months to years. My favorite aspect of the genre is the communites that spring up. The past few years I have tried out the new MMOs as they have come out but I never really "scratched that itch". In the summer of 2013 I was deployed for several months. During that time I could only get my MMO fix from reading magizines and game websites. It was also during that time that I realized it was not the games that were unfulfilling, it was my experiences with them. I was choosing to play mostly solo or joining random guilds that did not have a warm or active community. At that point I decided to find a solid multi-game community. For me the hardest part of changing games is leaving all the friends you have made and starting over. After much searching and comparing different guilds I decided to apply to Tribe.

Best decision I could have made.

The Tribe community not only spans multiple MMOs officially, but also has smaller chapters in many other games as well. Tribe is home to all different playstyles. Want to raid and be at the top level of content? Do you prefer to play casual and explore every bit of the world as you progress? Is your idea of a good time sitting around in town crafting? Love to slaughter other players in PvP arenas? Tribe happily accepts all types. All that and I have yet to mention the best part.

Tribe members care about each other and go out of their way to help each other. Ya know, like you would do in real life. When they say "we care about the person behind the pixils" they mean it. Many members are on a first name basis. We know about each others lives outside of gaming. We post pictures of our kids or concerts we go to. We say hi and bye to each other in game (it sounds trivial but it means a lot). And countless other ways that Tribe has that community feel. I am very happy that I have found Tribe. I hope that I can keep gaming with my Tribe family for a long, long time to come.

"I left Bahamut due to a lot of drama and splintering in the FC I played with in FFXI, people I considered family felt like total strangers. I had no idea which server I should even move to, so I started looking at recruitment threads and came across Tribes. The sentiment behind your values, the way you talked about members treating each other, the first impression reminded me so much of what my old FC USED to be, I decided to roll in Leviathan. I have not been disappointed. My first interaction with a Tribe member was Thomas Gallant, and I don't think I need to say more there as Thomas's name speaks for itself. Soon after I was being vetted on the boards, and welcomed in game and mumble.

Now seeing as it's only been two-three weeks in the FC I can't say it's family yet, that takes time. What I can say is I have met a lot of new and friendly members, who are both polite and helpful. Easy to talk to, never treated me like a noob or outsider. A group of players I am both honored to play with and proud to be a part of. "
