I'm not a huge fan of EA games in general. Almost all of the ones I own have been bundle fodder. I have never really felt burned by one I actually purchased. Closest would probably have been Double Fine's DF-9 Spacebase. But I bought that on sale during either Christmas last year or Summer last year. And I don't feel too robbed by the price. I did pay for it with Funbux (still, value that could have been elsewhere). Got a couple hours of gameplay out of it... probably could fire it up again and enjoy some more, but kind of "meh" about it at the moment.

Or maybe "Life is Feudal" I did end up picking that one up for (relatively) cheap on IndieGala but ended up being unimpressed after a few buggy minutes of attempting to play and falling through the world, after being unable to control my character. But who knows, maybe they'll fix it up?

Wasteland 2 started with a high EA price, pretty much soaking people nostalgia-desperate to get in on Wasteland 2. The base game is $40, early access to the base game was $60. Planetary Annihilation famously was $90 for EA and is now $30.

For the most part, games priced higher than MSRP for EA is the exception though. But in my opinion they should really be priced significantly lower than their eventual "box price" since you're getting an unfinished product. No reason for them to price as such though when plenty of people are happy to spend $20-$30 on an alpha build.

I believe Wasteland 2 was also a Kickstarter, and was overpriced for EA for the same reason Planetary Annihilation was.

Placing your base game as a $60-$90 Kickstarter reward isn't really different from (over)charging for it on EA, even if "Kickstarter!" is your excuse. Either way, they were using people's enthusiasm for the game idea to get them to pay significantly more than the intended MSRP would be.

I don't mind the kick starters that have the normal priced tier 1 that is just the "basic copy of the game" tier and then the higher ones having additional features (even if some are just physical boxes).

I can't say I'd be willing to drop 60-90 dollars on a tier 1 that was nothing more than a copy of the game. For that price I'd expected one of the "2 copies plus these bonuses". I pre-ordered Divinity Original Sin during it's EA, at that time it was 55 dollars or something like that, but was two copies of the game plus a bunch of preorder bonuses (like every Divinity game plus a DLC for Original Sin).

Eldritch is $1.99 for the next couple of days. It's a fun little FPS/Stealth game with randomly generated levels and more polish than the Minecraft-looking graphics would make you think. Been bundled before but not frequently and in the upper tiers.

If you participated in the Gearbox Software’s Community Day 2013 make sure you check your email for your Homeworld Remastered Steam key.

I may have a valid duplicate key (no guarantees) so PM me if you want it. Regular forum users only, first come first served.

Been a while since Humble Bundle had a good deal (lots of repeat stuff recently, everywhere).

Made in Japan.

A good value. Pretty sure it's fresh as far as bundles go. I"m interested in the Rime Berta. I'm sure it will lack compared to say... Disgaea, but I'm a sucker for Tactical RPGs.

Also, in addition to the games listed Here I also now have an extra key for "Into the War" Pretty bad greenlight whoring game. But it gave out three copies to greenlight voters. So it's like... getting three whores for the price of one.

I also have two Steam copies of Murder MIners http://store.steampowered.com/app/274900/
They are actual Steam gifts, I think I must have redeemed a 4 pack key from a bundle many months ago.

Magical battle Festa! SPARKALO OVERLOOAAAAD. Also the bullet hell games look pretty fun.

I'm not convinced on the 10$ tier but I think I might pick this one up at the tier before.Smiley: nod

The first tier has two titles on my current wishlist. I'll be snapping that up as soon as I get home. Smiley: yippee

Not that they matter, but have a rate up.

As expected, Rime Berta is pretty meh. I mean, I only played one battle, so I didn't get to see much of the skill system, but there was nothing spectacular about it. Maybe it will change later.

I'm not disappointed that I paid an extra 5 dollars and got it and the second Half-Minute hero game though. While not a great value, if you were interested in those two games it would be worth it. Basically 75% off of them.

NCSoft is selling Guild Wars 2 Standard for $10 or $15 for the Deluxe Edition. Remember, that there is no subscription fee for GW2, so the initial purchase is it (except for any optional in-game purchases they offer).

It was a fun game. I definitely enjoyed my time playing it. I might drop into it again sometime after I burn out on this FFXIV run.

Server doesn't mean **** now with the megaserver unless you wanna mainly focus on WvWvW. You can join guilds on any server, mega server tries to group you with friends/guildmates. Only time you'll be on "your server" is in WvWvW

Yeah, servers are Only used for WvWvW matches now days. So if you want to do that and know that you have friends who play, join them, otherwise yeah. I don't play as often as I used to, but still log in occasinally to check on couple of guilds and stuff.

Titanfall Season Pass is free in case you're one of the nine people playing Titanfall.

Apparently you can 'purchase' it without owning the base game.
