If you haven't already bought it, Green Man Gaming has the GotY edition for $6.00 (75% off plus 20% off coupon Z4364W-7MR5WA-N5BCOO ). Slightly better price.

Metro Redux is out on Steam, and you get 50% off each game if you own the original version.

Something screwy with it. Cause I own Metro 2033, and Redux is full price for me. Steam forums have lots of people complaining about it, some saying it was only for the pre purchase? Who knows.

I wasn't going to buy them anyway, but was just curious to see. The only reason I gt Metro 2033 is because I think Bundle Stars gave it to me for free (Was my first intro to Bundle Stars).

Something must have happened after the 1 PM EST store update. Store page still says 50% off if both games owned, but it's only giving me a 25% discount now like I only own one of the games. Also the discount is only being applied to the bundle and not the individual games.

Edit: Confirmed the Store Page still has pre-purchase "loyality discount" worded there. There goes any interest in picking it up pre-Steam Sale.

I enjoyed both games and would recommend them but I have zero interest in buying them a second time to play some "redux" version.

Plus I've already played Last Light twice (once run-and-gun and once stealth no-kills) so that's enough for me. Never touched the DLC though... I should do that one of these days. Or stop buying content DLC for games because I rarely go back to a finished game to play it (looking at you, BSI 'Buried at Sea')

******* spammers.

Anyway, Amazon has around 300 games on sale for their "End of Summer" special including Jet Set Radio (Steam Version) for $1.

Xcom EW is 10 dollars. Not all that great. Still only 66%. But I have a 5 dollar unused bing gift card on Amazon. I might pick up that for 5 bucks.

I'll have to check how long the sale lasts cause I'm only 6 days away from another 5 dollars from Bing. Then it'd be basically free.

That's my goal. But if Microsoft is paying for it. Maybe. Still not 100% yet since I could use the 10 dollars elsewhere and get more from it.

Ah. Probably not enough time then. Unless Bing does a special event on points.

I did. I was so confused because the new thread on the cross games page was this thread... and then I didn't see it.

Actually, you should make that time for that one. It really wraps up the storyline nicely. Also, playing as Elizabeth is a fairly different experience than playing as Booker. She can't stand up to swarms of enemies so it's more of a stealth game. It's one of the better DLCs I've bought. If you liked the original game it's worth playing.

Free Indie Gala give-away for Canyon Capers (Steam key). I have no idea what a "Canyon Capers" is but I assume it mistreats women in some way so I'm totally on board.

Free $5 Paypal credit for looking at a quick "You should use Paypal!" demonstration (took under a minute to click through). Judging from the URL, I assume it's North America only.

Quasi-Game related, I've been listening to the audiobook for Metro 2033 and it's very good. Both the story and the excellent narration by Rupert Degas. If you enjoyed the game and the whole Metro/Stalker milieu, you can do much worse than to make it part of your commute. You can get two free book credits from this Audible offer (one for Metro 2033, one for whatever) and then cancel the trial.
