Also WTF Steam, how is -20% off a deal?

To be fair, the game just turned 30 days old.

The new Wolfenstein game is a month and a week old and it had a 50% discount.

I'm assuming you are talking about Divinity Original Sin, right? Technically I was wrong because apparently the release is tomorrow.

The double pack works out to 30% off, plus added DLC (and a couple of their older games thrown in for both copies).
I ended getting the double because my brother wanted it as well. So I'll just have him owe me one...

Encore time, nothing I want. Crusader Kings II was still 50%, but Amazon currently has it for 80% off... so I nabbed it and redeemed it in Steam Smiley: grin

Means that Dark Souls II was the only item from my wishlist that I didn't nab during the sale. Nice!

Edit2: Looks like I was too late to qualify for all those voting cards. Darn.

You can still earn your drops. If you reach level 8 in the next 3 and a half hours (depending on your current collection level, you could get 1-5 exp per game you buy). Then if you buy something after reaching level 8 you get all your backlogged vote drops.

It's possible that you can come out ontop, the prices of summer cards are increasing (around 0.23-0.25 per card right now).
I ended up getting them all after the event ended. Sold em all for a couple bucks total.

I was really thinking about it... Smiley: lol

Edit:
(A big chunk of that was the 55 dollar Digital CE of Divinity Original Sin, second copy of which went to my brother).

A large part of mine was Steam Wallet funds from cards, but not the majority of the final day purchases (my cards didn't sell and earn fast enough).

I still have about 50 dollars worth of cards to farm and sell.

None of his games are on any decent discount though.

I was just loading up my list in case the Summer Sale Contest Fairy forgot that I was on Blue Team.

I did go after that screen shot though and bought a Witcher 3 pre-order from the Russians for like $26 in TF2 keys. Now I just need to wait until February to play it Smiley: laugh

I think I spent more than I did over the Christmas sale... at least on Steam itself (if I include the $21 i spent on the GOG D&D pack then I know I did).

I feel pretty good about my restraint. Only $50 or so spent, with more than $15 of that coming from card sales.

I got mine off the Badges screen. Above the summer badge progress, there's a clickable link saying "How do I earn card drops?". Probably an easier way.

Thanks.

Considering that most of that was actual software, I think I restrained myself pretty well.

So far, Divinity: Original Sin definitely a quality game. I don't see any problem with the price tag. 27 bucks I spent on it (well, technically 55, but that was two copies, one for my brother). I definitely see myself getting my money's worth out of it.

Got 3 hours in, and just barely began it. Passed through the tutorial, learning how to use the environment for my advantage. Missed out on some potentially good environmental things in the first real battle.

Reports are 20-25 hours for the first 1/4th of the game. And it's got built in modding, and the workshop, so content shouldn't be an issue.

I spent ten bucks on Banished. I like it. It has its issues, like ocassionally freezing up on me if I tab out, but it definitely feeds into my OCD.

Steam is having a "Canada Day Sale" in case you wanted to stock up on indie bundle fodder from the Great White North.

I picked up the game that has cards and only costs 0.75 in hopes they'll be worth enough to offset the cost next major sale.
