I grabbed it on the off chance I'll ever get a 3D printer. Combined with RaySupreme it seems like a good combo.

Papers, Please is currently $2.99 at GOG.com. Not Steam activated but whatever.

Naturally, I bought it from Steam a few days ago Smiley: rolleyes

Edit: Wait, that's actually the same price it was on Steam. So now I feel better.

Been going to a local library for printing since they have one, but I really want my own in the future.

What's the local library charge for 3D printing? Not that I need anything printed or know if there's a library near that offers that service but the concept is pretty cool. I'd think that'd be pretty time intensive.

Grabbed it as well. All in all, not bad. I would kill for more clothing options, especially the ability to manipulate the coat and shirt layers separately, but it's lacking in overall options in general. Wish there were glove options. A few armored options would be useful. Accessories to have the model hold in hand would be cool too. Hats seem to be worthless with hair, since hair seems to clip through.

Reasonable enough at the sale price point, but I definitely would have felt ripped off at the full price.

Random thoughts with Sho:

How long until this is the only thread left in this forum you think?

In other news Don't starve is pretty fun. Farthest I have gotten so far is like day 7 and I just finally built my first science machine so maybe it should open up now.

Other also news: Naruto 3rd storm has a pretty freakin epic first fight against the 9 tail. Great art so far. After that the first guy in the actual fighting game pummeled me into the dirt. I have no idea what I am doing yet but it looks cool.

Final thought:

Should I buy Thief? I hear nothing but bad but but... it looks neat.

I think the thing about Thief is that it's a flawed game but that the flaws are worth it if you're a sucker for the type of game.

edit: but buy Dishonored first if you haven't got that yet.

These remind me of an old game called Gemfire from Koei. I've been looking for a similar game for years. I prefer the open world portion to be more strategic and a big part of the game, which is why I could never really get into FFT. Anyone know if that's what these are like, and if so, are their non-Hentai variants out there?

You could Play SR and skip scenes. It also has a non-story mode where you can chose any clan to play as which also removes the H. It has a really neat battle and strategic play system.

There is also Shogun/TW games, those are story lite. Fun Tactical battles.

There's that Pokemon Conquest game, but that's probably closer to FFT.

KOEI does Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Europa Universalis or Crusader kings might be interesting, but EU is not really character driven, and I don't like the battle mechanics in CK all that much.

Yeah Dishonered was great fun. Played it but I have not played the final DLC i bought yet. I suppose I should do stuff like that before I go buying new stuff. But sometimes I find it hard to go back since basically I don't remember how to be ninja anymore in Dishonored and when I played the first DLC I was just like F it. Kill everything loudly and with no grace rawr.

Hah! Divinity: Dragon Commander went up for 75% off, so I went ahead and got it. Then I got a foil adventure card. :P

Edit: Used the funds from the foil to complete my Long Live the Queen! badge. Completed the community badge. Now 7xp away from level 8, which will get me nine adventure cards from earlier voting. Smiley: laugh

Edit2: Looks like I was too late to qualify for all those voting cards. Darn.

Ya, looks like yesterday at 9pm est was the last vote. Which means the number of votes was not a nice divisible by 3 number (they should have had a vote at 5am est today to round it off.

I just saw that Enhanced Steam adds up your card drops and how much value they have on your badge list.

I have 374 card drops remaining, worth approximately $50.34

97 games with drops remaining... (274 games total with card drops).

Edit:
And the scoreboard is complete BS. Every team is within 1000 points of each other today... since the beginning.

For what it's worth, I asked to get my Admin status reinstated so I can at lease police the spam posts again Smiley: grin

Hi all! Been a few months; got a new computer and didn't save my password, so I'm currently out of being an Admin. I've still been around lurking though. Might as well chime in my own choices for the sale:

Bioshock Infinite: Season Pass: Bought for $9.99. Already finished episode 1. Man am I rusty at this game...
Banished: The reviews of this are wonderful; it's apparently Sim City meets Dark Souls. A "survival city builder."
Darksiders II: Suggested it to a friend as well, who has already put 15 hours into it.
Dishonored: GOTY edition: Positive reviews and word of mouth put this on my radar. Plus, even with all the DLC, it was on sale for only about $10-11.
Don't Starve: Reign of Giants: Was on the wall about this one, as I "only" put about 20 hours into the base game, never beat it, and eventually gave it up as repetitious. We'll see.
Dust: An Elysian Tail: Was about $3.00 last night and had pretty good reviews, so why not?
Europa Universalis IV: Extreme Edition: EUIV seems to be the most complex game in its genre. Even after watching about 10 hours of Let's Play videos, I have a feeling that it's going to take twice as many hours of playing to understand what the heck I'm doing.
Goat Simulator: I just had to. Got it during the 40% sale.
King Arthur's Gold: The Let's Play videos made it look hilarious. It's Terraria meets Worms Armageddon. Can't go wrong with that!
Star Wars: KOTOR II: Never played it back when it first came out, but I've heard great things about it. Plus, there are plenty of patches and mods to make it even better now.
The Walking Dead: Season II: Will probably wait to play this until all the episodes are out. I also need to replay Season 1 (or at least 400 days) to make sure I have an optimal set-up. Not sure if it'll make a difference...

Still on my wishlist are:
Crusader Kings II: I missed the Flash Sale Smiley: glare
Dark Souls II: It's been on 33% discount all sale long, but I'm holding out for 40-50%. I may just wait until winter, as just between EU, KOTORII, Banished, and Darksiders II, I have several hundred hours of gaming. I'm thinking of the same thing for Assassin's Creed IV; I really want to play the game, but I can wait.

Edit: Oh, and I've probably made about $5.00 in card sales. I've still ended up spending around $50-60 though, so it's not that great.

That has been kinda weird. Oh well, here's hoping purple places at least, since I actually contributed 2 whole points today. Smiley: laugh

You can still earn your drops. If you reach level 8 in the next 3 and a half hours (depending on your current collection level, you could get 1-5 exp per game you buy). Then if you buy something after reaching level 8 you get all your backlogged vote drops.

It's possible that you can come out ontop, the prices of summer cards are increasing (around 0.23-0.25 per card right now).

Final Day Encore sales are up, but the store is bogged down and not loading completely for me.

I doubt anything new is popping up. Encore and all that.

Edit:
Apparently it's very close to release, store page says the 27th should be the last update.

Very tempting... but... not 100% sure yet. I'll sit on it for a few hours to decide. Turn based tactical RPG is my weakness though.

Edit:
I have zero self control... I cannot leave the store page. It's a pointless struggle for me right now. Not really a question of "If" but more "When in the next 24 hours will I click that button).
