Given the end of the sale approaching in 2 more days, and the lack of any real new games listed the past few days, I went ahead and purchased all the games that were currently at 66% and above (3 of them) on my wishlist.

Sunday I'll buy the rest if they don't go on Daily/Flash before then.

I'd hope not since TressFX is an AMD technology.

My understanding is Mirror's Edge is better with a pad, but I think only the 360 one works with it without major hassle.

I've got a 360 controller, might be the 1st person view and not having as good a feel of where you are.

Also, graphics are as high as they can go, hair still stays remarkably shiny and smooth despite the rest of her body being covered in mud and blood.

The reality of this sale for me is that there wasn't much on my wishlist to begin with. The past year has been really, really slow with releases I care about.

If dhe can keep her hair clean through a shipwreck, tropical storm, sliding and running through a muddy cave and jumping around a forest she's some sort of magical being.

My Logitech pad works just fine for Mirror's Edge.

Nvidia is for suckers. The Tress FX tech to make Lara's hair look and move right is from AMD. It took the folks over at Nvidia months to release proper drivers to get Tombraider looking like it should.

The only way to make it better... Make it a Utility Weekend! All 6 Weekend Flash sales... boost Steam Software libraries!

(My Software Library has one item. Something that was included in one of the Bundle Site's bundles a while ago)

Edit:
I saw the Spacebase DF-9... looked like fun... 66% off.
Then I saw it was early access and was disappointed.
But then I saw it was Double Fine Productions.

Now I'm torn.

EA games are risky, but... Double Fine is a legit developer/publisher, not some fly by night group right?

Double Fine is a legit developer.

Psychonauts, The Cave, Brutal Legend, Stacking, etc are all Double Fine games.

Well, ya, I knew that :)

One of them... rhetorical questions.

Early Access risk vs known, usually good, Developer.

(Though, I do wish Broken Age act 2 would come out)

Edit:
Side note, I have the "Spacebase DF-9 Prototype" in my Library already from one of the earlier Double Fine Humble Bundles.

Meh game is over a year old, like I can remember which card it was "made" for. Works great on my Nvidia card and did when I purchased the game. Granted it wasn't at release and probably a Steam sale later in the year. Had 3 AMD cards over the years, Nothing but issue after issue after issue with em. Never had a single issue with a Nvidia card so they'll keep my money for now.

Simple tactical RPG. Mostly about boning hot anime girls though.

Dating Sim + Tactical RPG. Unfortunately I don't think the Tactical RPG side is as well done as it could have been.

No thanks... I'd rather play a good SRPG on the PC.

From what I saw in google, it wasn't the type I am looking for. Disgaea/FFT is what I'm looking for.

Oddly, though, there's a part of me that really wants to throw down the $20 for Fuse since yesterday was payday. Knowing me, I'd probably spend hours just playing around with it.

Ultimately, I'd probably use it to put together images of my characters in Pathfinder. Which could be fun.

These remind me of an old game called Gemfire from Koei. I've been looking for a similar game for years. I prefer the open world portion to be more strategic and a big part of the game, which is why I could never really get into FFT. Anyone know if that's what these are like, and if so, are their non-Hentai variants out there?

I'm surprised Cave Story hasn't been on sale, considering it's typical sale fodder. I think I'm done with the sale.
