Ended up picking up Fable:TLC for $2. Still keeping my fingers crossed for at least 75% off on Long Live the Queen and/or Divinity: Dragon Commander.

Someone here bought it an hour or two before it went on sale for 75%... (it was 50%)

Edit:
It was Spoon, he bought it around noon EST or so before I went to the store. Then when I was at the store 1PM rolled around so I fired up my phone to look at the new sales, and saw Battleblock for 75%... and laughed.

Yeah. But it's cool. I can grab a couple copies for some other people. It's still worth it at the $7 or whatever I paid.

Besides, I've spent more money before on games I've never even run once.

Voted for 2D retro because I wanted Broforce, but didn't realize it'd still be $10. Oh well.

Summer Sale card prices are crashing. I assume the bump that game cards got will be crashing as well if it's not already.

I'm not sure if I can quite call it crashing yet, but there has been a definite downward trend in the last 8 hours or so.

I finally found a game to buy. Metro: Last Light complete edition for $6.79. I've still got plenty of fun bux, but so far this sale hasn't blown my mind.

I bought Papers, Please. It wasn't a summer sale game, just a plain old sale game.

I'm not sure if I like it. It feels too much like work.

Anyone played the Farming Simulator?

Kind of annoyed that even though BL2 is on sale it's apparently $9.99 for the GOTY edition in the US but €11.24 ($15.28) for me.

Nope, €12.94 there.

Edit: For Australians it's even worse, they get to pay $19.99 in Australian dollars which is $18.87 in US dollars...

Are we able to gift to non-US accounts? I could grab it for you if we can.

Just spotted this on a NeoGAF thread and confirmed it, Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death is $0.99 on Steam right now. It's basically God of War for your PC.

M:tG 2014 Gold for $5 is a good price if you want netdecks in your netdeck while you netdeck Smiley: grin

Really though, it was fun for the five bucks. Was the same price a few weeks ago. Just go for the Gold version for the extra decks because the Complete version blows any progression from the game (you start with every card unlocked with Complete).

What's the weirdness with limited sealed?

In sealed, you get X many booster packs (think five or six with three more earned by campaign play?) with which to build a deck. Once you open them for the slot, there's no way to remove them.

You can buy more "sealed slots" but, unless you plan on buying more booster packs for real money, there's no reason to do so.

Note that the pre-built decks you get with the base game (and the extras with the Gold edition) unlock additional cards as you play and you can add/remove those cards to tweak the deck how you'd like. So even without the sealed play aspect you still get some deck modification.

I'm actually playing GoW Ascension right now, I do love me a good action game. So for that price, I'll give it shot. It's not like it's real money anyway.

It's essentially a glorified DLC for SRIII. I'm holding out until it drops below five dollars.

Well, I had 34 hours in it (played the 'plot' DLCs though) so that's not bad for glorified DLC. I have a lot more hours in SRTT though since I liked that one more. Manic car driving and crime entertained me more than superhero building running, although both are fun in their own way.

I thought I already owned Castle Crashers... Went to buy the DLC (24 cents each) and it failed telling me I didn't own the base game.

Turns out I didn't own the base game...

So I purchased the Battleblock Theater game yesterday for 75% off, then today I purchased the bundle as a gift for the future (thinking of giving it to my brother so we could play the two games) and it turns out I don't have Castle Crashers, so I bought that one for 90% off. So I spent a couple more bucks than I needed to had I just waited until today and bought both bundles.

Also, Operating Everyone Work as a Team seems to be working as intended. And I always try to craft one badge during the sales events just because I would feel bad if I didn't have a badge from the event on my account. So I'm going to wait until it's purple's day again to redeem my badge, just cause I get a 1 in 5 million chance for free games, and two cards.

Edit:
I wonder if anyone is going to send a self addressed stamped envelope to Valve to figure out who all the winners were?
