Same. Except I bought a 4 packs because I have roommates and it was $3 and I had a couple of Gaben FunBux lying around so why not.

Same here. Figured for the low base price, 70% was as good as 75%.

If you've just been dying to play Titanfall but just couldn't part with the money, it's free to play for 48 hours this weekend on Origin. Which is about 46 hours more than it will take to get bored of playing it...

*edit: I'll take "Things that seemed funny when I was drunk last night for 200 Alex." Daily double!

I am really tempted to buy Planet Explorers, even if it's an EA game... but I can't bring myself to click on the button. It looks like it may be fun, but it also looks like I won't play it as much as I probably should if I pay 15 dollars for it.

The thing that killed it for me was the fact that it's early access. I'm starting to loathe early access with a passion.
Jophiel wrote:
Yes, that.

Also, if you really care, you can then click the game in your badge pages and click the "check market price" and see which cards are selling for the most. Really though, most sell for 10-15¢ so it's hardly worth the effort. Guess it saves you from farming five 5¢ McPixel cards though.

I went through about 25 games on my list and I think I've cracked the code for shorthanding the search. Games with fewer overall cards seem to have higher card values. I'm guessing because psychologically it means you only have to buy a few to get the ones you need to complete the badge, even if 6 McPixel cards would cost you less than 2-3 for another game. Overall, probably not useful, but if you're last minuting it like me, it makes sense to try for the higher values first.

Half Life 3 confirmed for Early Access!

God, imagine the ********* that would cause. Smiley: laugh

I hope Banished wins this round. Been waiting for that one to go on sale for a decent amount.

And yes, if Planet Explorer's hadn't been Early Access, I probably would have dropped 15 dollars for it. To be fair, from what I read in the game forums, it's not a game giving EA a bad name... but it still weighed heavily against it in my mind. If it had been 10 dollars I probably would have dropped the cash even with EA attached.

I bought Metal Slug 3 for like $2 and change.

On the other hand, if you're ever going to dump your real junk cards now would be the time. People are trying to find super-cheap cards to bump their levels and so prices are climbing.

I think I got Metal Slug in a humble bundle. But I would have probably purchased it if I didn't already have it.

I'm on the winning Team (apparently blowing everyone out of the water). If only you didn't have to craft badges to get points and earn a card.

Your not doing it right. Supposed to buy lots of games you will never play and feel the joy of regret!

Even if I'll never play it, I need to at least feel like it's a good deal (well, especially if I'll never play it...)

I got Red Alert 3 so far because it was like 2.50 and it'll probably give me a few hours of entertainment at some point in time.

The intro video alone would be worth the $2.50 if it wasn't available free on Youtube.

If my market transaction history is to be believed, my average card sale price so far is around 24 cents per card. And I've sold 400 cards... (Since the beginning, in 2013).

This. Card prices have jumped a bit and so far I haven't found a single game that I wanted to buy.

So far Ive picked up 2 games:
Agarest: Generations of War for 4.50, 5 cards at about 35 cents per so overall about $3.
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae 2.50, had 4 cards at like 30 cents, so overall $1.20

I'm out of cards to farm but have about $16 gaben bux in credit. I was really considering AC: Black Flag last night for 19.99 but passed. I've been eyeing up the Dynasty Warriors game but $24.99 is pushing it. I'm sure some games on my wishlist will go on decent sales.

MGS: Revengence going sub 10 would be nice, or Killer is Dead.

Also whenever I SAM more than 1 game it takes forever to drop cards (like 2 hours before the first drop). So I've found it easier to run one game for about 2 hours for all the cards then switch to the next game.

So it's kind of like StarCraft meets Civilization meets Homeworld. I imagine it's much more fun to play against friends than the AI.
